i know this website by chance.and i want to know how to earn money here.
how much money i can earn per month?
As you have zero Hubs published presently, you can't earn anything... Yet.
The FAQ has lots of information on how you might be able to earn money, if you take the time and effort to publish quality content,
http://hubpages.com/faq/#royalties
The sky is the limit. You can earn as much money as you're willing to work for - but it won't be easy.
It takes the average hubber about 9 months to reach payout ($100 in the US.) After that you can expect each payout to arrive in half that time on average.
If you put in the work of learning (about keywords and SEO) then quality writing (some people earn thousands from a few hubs but this is very rare) then you'll do well here.
The good thing is that the income is passive - I haven't written a single hub this month but I've made nearly $100 this month.
WryLilt, you said you have not published at all this month; yet you have earned nearly $100. What are some of the reasons do you think that happened? Just curious!
That's how passive income works. Unlike WryLilt I've written one hub this month (although it hasn't earned anything yet from it) but expect to see around $100 income this month. Had it not been for the google changes I would have expected 2-3 times that amount.
It is coming from hubs that I wrote months ago. The work was done long ago, but (some) of those hubs continue to produce income and hopefully will do that for a long time to come.
Google likes aged content. The older an article gets, the more hits it will get off Google (if the topic isn't too saturated.) It takes 6-9 months for the average hub to 'mature' to where it earns decent money.
Like Wilderness, the Google Algorithm change hit me fairly hard; in December I earnt about $350.
Write good hubs, post them on twitter , face book stumbled upon as well as join kooday a new search engine where you buy keywords & link them to your hubs once submitted ,
I earn $50-100 a week from kooday as well as getting more traffic to my hubs !( have a hub about it )have earned since day 1 there , no where near as much on hubpages yet.
Wow! Thanks, WryLilt, wytegarillaz and wilderness. (all the W's)
That is good advice. It is encouraging to know that the older articles will still produce earnings. I am fairly new even though I have written 106 hubs. It is encouraging to know that they will "mature" eventually.
wytegarillaz, I will check out your hub about kooday.
First you need to write hub , then you can earn and earn unlimited but it depends on your efforts.
thank you!i am a seller.i want to ask whether i can use this place to sell my own goods.
You have one image and 34 words on your newly published hub.
I suggest you read up as much as you can before publishing anything new. I'm surprised that the system allowed it to get published with so little content.
You'll need to go into far more detail for anyone to find it via a search.
You can use this place to lead traffic to where you sell your stuff, but you can't receive payments through hubs.
Make sure you don't get over promotional in promoting your site(s).
Do as darkside suggests and I'd also recommend taking a look at the best hubs so that you can get an idea of what to aim for when writing a hub. http://hubpages.com/hubs/best/
The aim of HubPages is not just to promote your stuff on other sites. You have to write something that people will be interested to read, they don't just want to read "go to my site". Why should AdSense pay you to put up an ad of your own?
Also, you can only have 2 links to the same site in the article.

Just found this website on while I was Googling. I used to write stories when I was in school, and later too. I love this scope and this platform. Any advice is welcome. Thanks.

You can't. Just had to put that out there as I'm seeing newbies all over the forums going on about these topics lately.Serious money comes from getting views from Google NOT from having other hubbers visit your work. Some of the top hubbers on the site have separate accounts NO ONE knows about to...

Hey Guys and Gals, Man, I have just about had it with the traffic issues here at the Hubpages. I have published over 100 hubs here in two years. I have won several awards, I have had over 10, 000 views, and I have a following of over 200 people. When this whole traffic loss debacle first occurred,...
