Everyone who has Twitter come follow Hubpages and lets all follow one another. Let's all promote the site who nurtured us a writer!
How do you follow HP on Twitter or twatter, whatever it is LMAO. Well you know what I mean, so sorry to bother you guys I am like a blind blonde with it feeling my way. Plus I have been so busy with doing a couple of things lately. Thanks anyone who can tell me that.I am Blondepoet on there too by the way, I like to be orignal on all these new sites.
Er no it is not twatter ;-) Login to twitter, find the [find people] and look for hubpagesdotcom. or me because i've linked and you can just click on follow. Now wasn't that easy ?
Could not find your name Blondepoet is that the correct spelling ?
I just now figuring it all out, but you're right-
HubPages Rocks the HOUSE!!
I see you're still trying to get lucky, Misha :-)
OK, I've signed up to follow hubpages.
Thanks Misha for the follow!
LOL,
Hi Eric! will you follow us in Twitter?
I am on Twitter and have just followed HubPages!!! I am scrumptiousone and Sheena you are now following me. Thanks bunches.
Ok as I am new LMAO and don't quite understand Twitter too, if I follow people does that mean I have to press on there buttons all time, that would get quite hectic.
Can someone explain the advantages of Twitter to me, I dont get out much !
not much avantages,
& it's design is also not good.
but main advantage when we post what we are doing ,
or anything we want,
all our followers will know it & will visit that webpage.
you have a 1000's of followers easily ,
it can be maximum upto lakhs of followers,
following others is the main entertainment on twitter ,
from which other will know our & follow us ,
i got 101 follower in a single day of joining only ,
& they like my updates.
it's amazing.
Hello My Love,
Twitter is good for marketing your site. As a rule of thumb, you follow those who follow you. If you want more people to follow you, answer questions in TweetQA and post your own questions. Tweeter has a directory called Twellow which you can add people and choose your target market.
TweetDeck is a software that you download to receive Tweets from Tweeters that you follow. It acts like a mobile on your computer.
I tested it with Hubpages and my other site and proved that Twitter really works. It brings the traffic to your site.
Sheena
great ,
i don't know about some of this features ,
i will use it,
thank you,
sheenarobins.
Hai Sheena!
I did not know all of that other stuff about Twitter. I will have to check into it. BTW I am adding everyone who is on Twitter from the Hub! I think that you all are so amazing. I am learning so much here! I wish you all could give college credit. At least then I would feel as if I am learning something.
ps. I'm on Twitter too! user: AmIDeadYet
The advantage is , you will drive more traffic to your webpages and create new followers. I am still learning the art of Twitter but it certainly is another community that will help you stay in touch. By the way I posted my true name on Twitter Julianna Evans as someone took my initials Aevans which is my middle and last name.
Don't worry I am in the same boat BC I am on there with no idea what it does. I am getting frustrated lol
my Twitter is sheenarobins and been following Cindy. hehehehe
I searched for you could not find you alas and alack
I am following cindy but still cant find blondepoet
I added you lol I just went to Cindy's Page she has the whole tribe there, so fingers crossed you will see me.You can't miss me with the blonde hair, why, my friends use me as a lamp at night, as my hair glows in the dark LMAO
I've been resisting Twitter for some time, because I didn't really see the advantage, but you've sold me. I'll sign up and see where it takes me.
I will post my username back here in a few minutes.
Great MotherHubber! Will be waiting for you then. And I like the photo on your profile. ;)wink
That's crap Bud you weren't on there I did a search. Grrrrrrr A waste of my fingers LMAO
i was there ,
just got to ,

There are very many advantages to using Twitter. It is a good way to pass on links to your writings, its a good way to learn about new websites and it's a good way to get to know some people better. Not everyone clicks on all your links but I guess it can be used for backlinks.
Personally I don't believe that the number of people you follow or follow you that matters, it's the quality. I will not follow everyone automatically especially people who are obviously going to spam or if I don't find what they say interesting (like people who twit on what they are doing every minute of the day), I expect others to be the same when following me.
Julie Amos has written a few hubs about Twitter, like this one:
http://hubpages.com/hub/Twitter-Effectiveness
An animal Avatar where...no I may be an animal LMAO but I still have my normal pic. Hang on I think you need to find your specs hahaha.x0x
your are 1st new,
1st post ,
1st time,
1st twitter spammer ,
i am excited to know where you will write your furthur spams.
You are a tosser mate go put your finger on your head and say red backwards
Does it ever get too much for your brain....keeping up with all the posts and comments here???? and now you're saying to twitter as well......well hell....I'm so spread thin already I can barely remember my own name anymore!!!! I guess if you're here to make money with hubpages and don't have a real job or life it might be reasonable. Wish I had time to follow you twitters...but I already have enough trouble keeping up with you all here.
Hey RB I am the same I don't know whether I will have time to Twitter, I don't even have the time to cook lately without the smoke alarm going off, as I am go go go with something else.
I know BP...maybe you can take time and chew in my ear sometimes though......hehehe....
Oh my you could have told me you heard me eating lol instead of listening to my saliva LMAO oh that was funny.
Wow beautiful one! Facebook, the forums, twitter, it is a lot to keep up with. You may have noticed I cannot even find enough time for facebook as you would know. By the time I talk to my family on Facebook it is time to leave. Sorry I have been very behind with my dear friends there, I will try to catch up!
Lol oh boy same here.I have no time to go on FB either lately and my friends are getting agitated that I haven't been sucking on their lollipops there, throwing pies at them,I honestly don't know how people do it LMAO.
Deff going to be twitter guy later tonight and add all you guys, I needs some traffic !
Awesome, the Hubbing mainstream has taken to Twitter! Only started using it recently but I think it's a great traffic generating tool.
Okay, I am all set to Tweet. My username is MotherHubber, and I'm following Sheena, AEvans, Cindy, and Hubpages. I'm going to play with it now. :-)
Tweeting is fun, and it definitely has it's uses, if it's used properly
Here I am: weddingdude
And for the record, the user "hubpages" on twitter is not associated with hubpages.
The official hubpages user is "hubpagesDOTcom"
Twitter is great if you follow some simple guidelines. Here's some of mine.
1. Tweet about what's interesting - not what you're doing.
2. If I follow someone because I find them interesting, I'm not offended if they don't follow me back. My tweets may be as boring as hell for them to read.
3. Likewise, If someone follows me and their twitter stream is full of stuff that I don't find interesting (ie just advertisements, or an endless stream of the minutae of their lives) I probably won't follow them.
3. I prefer quality over quantity. I totally ignore all the "get a squillion followers by tomorrow by using this nifty application" type messages.
4. I'll sometimes check out who my followers are following. If they are selective, there will be some very interesting people that I can follow.
cheers, Eric G.
p.s. my twitter link is on my profile page.
Thanks Sheena and Eric for the great explaination of how to use Twitter, for marketing I thought people were just liking to talk alot or should I say text a lot.
Thanks folk! I am on twitter, but never got how it works. I am a bit slow when it comes to learning these things, so this helps heaps.
Is it coincidence that the word 'twit' is in Twitter?
lol...kidding, I love Twitter! come follow me!
http://twitter.com/MissJamieD
I am slowly getting there learning the ropes with Twitter myself. I have made huge advancements for example last night I discovered it is actually called Twitter not Tweeter. Two, I remembered my log in details and three now know where my profile page is located. Thanks Eric I have absorbed all your tips as well. You are the man LMAO.
Hi Deb,
The site is called Twitter. When you post updates it's called Tweets! You are now an official Tweeter.
Tweeter,
Sheena
I think Eric hit the nail on the head with twitter. If you haven't read his post yet and you're new to twitter, read it and follow it. Please. Twitter doesn't need more spam.
I wrte a blog entry titled "TWITTER: I was wrong. Damn it!" a while ago that may help you get it into a bit more perspective.

Cheers, Eric G.
Okay, RK, you are *way* ahead of me. I can't get a picture up let alone screen my followers! LOL
Hmm...lemme see if I can figure out what this whole fuss is about?

I am literally sick and tired of people who follow you, and then, when you follow them back, they promptly unfollow you. Really, people? What do you do when someone unfollows you shortly after you follow them? Do you hunt them down and unfollow them as well? Do you send them mail saying what they...

I am still new to Hubpages and have been enjoying a rather successful start. Thank you to those who have voted my articles up and those few of you who have begun to follow me. But I have noticed one thing of late and maybe it is the way it goes but I think it is disrespectful. I have commented on a...

I've had twitter for a while. I find it very spammy, so don't really read it. I post my hubs there & the occasional article I like. I have approx 300 followers (many are writers), yet in my traffic, I have very rarely had a visitor from twitter. Do the backlinks count for...

Wouldn't it be great if we could de-fan a follower? If your asking, "why in the world would you want to do that?" Let me tell you. Recently I have been gaining quite a few followers which actually helped push my numbers over 200. That is great. However, most of these people have not only...

How does someone on hubpages get a large following without writing hubs? When I am hub hopping, I have noticed that there are many people with little or no hubs and they have hundreds of followers. I see that some of them are following many people and I understand the reciprocity factor but I don't...

Have you noticed that the high earners on HubPages appear to follow very few writers themselves?Could it be said then, that it is more important to have a following than it is to follow back other writers and Are we spending too much time commenting at the cost of writing new content?
