Over the years I've been here, Hubpages has played an enormous role in my writing successes. It has been a platform where I can post sample chapters and get feedback, practise my writing, and the forums have been great for posting up requests for hubbers to share their stories with me, all good material for writing novels. Many of my hubs have also been on relationship advice and I decided to adapt many of those hubs to be chapters in my new book, How to Say No to Sex and other Survival Tips for the Suddenly Single. I feel I couldn't have become an indie author without the feedback and support from my many Hubber friends. Work takes up so much of my time these days, I can't spend as much time hubbing as I used to in the past. It's a struggle to find time to write. So Hubpages and all the hubbers I've chatted to over the years, thanks so much for your support! You rock! Free ebook giveaway this weekend only - How to Say No to Sex, go to Smashwords.com and use this coupon AZ56J
Congrats on your success - you've obviously worked hard and deserve it.
Thanks for the offer, but at my age I NEVER say no to sex.
Hey woman I haven't talked to you in a coon's age! I'm so glad to hear that you're feeling like a success, because you are a success! I can't wait to read that hub:) Hugs
Hey Cindy I like your well intended sentiment, but since Panda the place has lost some shine. But there are still some of the oldies left who like yourself,eg. Earnest, Marissa, Izzy and wayne to name a few who patrol the forums and keep everyone in check.
As for the offer I think I'll turn it down, saying no to sex is something I don't have to worry about, it really gets offered these days.:)Good luck with it though.
Oh Cindy! It is so nice to see you. I think of you often and I am so glad you are doing well. No more black ants I hope. ((Hugs)) will shoot you an e-mail and have a wonderful day!
AE was thinking of you the other day and wondering how you're doing! We used to have crazy fun on Hubpages!
How to say no to sex is just one chapter which is a bit tongue in cheek. There are other chapters which show you how to improve your sex life lol.
Oh God! lololo! Sounds like a fun read. I miss you and we did have so much fun on HP. Those were the good ole' days. ***Sigh****
It was and still is a wonderful place, but a couple of years ago it was awesome!
plus 1

I was super excited to see that YouTube picked my channel (Create with Claudia) as today's (Oct. 9, 2020) "Creator on the Rise". Honestly, I can't believe that I'm on their trending page for the next 24 hours. I started out writing here about 8 years ago on a whim. Never...

Was curious after seeing most of the long term - experienced Hubbers. So thought of doing some research. Topic explains it. Let's try to be truthful here. What really keeps you going on here on HP? Why should Hubpages be the First choice for any Writer? Please try to support your idea with...

I can't seem to find an answer for this in the learning center. I have a large set of articles I've been writing for a while + some time on my hands to dedicate to Hubpages for the next couple of months. Would publishing 10 hubs a day benefit or disadvantage me, both in terms of hub score /...

Hooray! For months now I've been trying to figure out who to report the "alleged" infringement on one of my hubs where 9 links to ads have been placed. Whenever I would click the link it would take me to an advertisement that required 3 attempts to leave the page without buying the...

Hi everyone, I'm glad to say one of my articles has been published and featured. After two failed attempts on different topics, I started fresh and familiarised myself with the hubpages site, spent a few hours reading the forum questions and answers here which I found most useful when it came to...

Since I finished the apprenticeship, and after umpteen updates and changes made on HP, my traffic has never picked up. I can't remember the last time I saw any more than 40 views a day. My average at the moment is more like 30. The articles I worked long and hard to produce, sit there doing nothing...
