If you're uncomfortable with mashups don't waste your time on them. However, others appear to find them of interest, depending on the content. Have you ever forwarded an article you liked or a YouTube to a friend that you think might find it interesting or helpful? I think we all will enjoy HubPages more if we try to be friends rather than dissing or flagging (fragging might be a more appropriate term) each others Hubs.

Yes I have, but I think there are plenty of other places on the net which exist for that purpose. I don't think it really belongs on HubPages, which we're told wants "ORIGINAL, useful content".    I know you see it differently, and we have to agree to disagree on that score.

I certainly don't know much about this site; I'm new and technologically challenged.  But I do agree that this is supposed to be all original content to the best of my understanding.

I know I'll regret adding here but I'm getting a little frustrated...I've read this thread this afternoon and reread it again just now...It is my opinion and I am possitive it should be the same for everyone concerned...If you didn't come up with it, if its not your idea.................... its not yours. SIMPLE as that...I think it should be rule #1 for a writer anywhere, as here on hubpages also, original writing only...with following that rule this thread should be done over and finished...flinging c**p is getting nobody anywhere fast, it just makes for a very messy and slippery road...
I wish I knew how to put that "flogging a dead horse" thingy here.
    regards Zsuzsy

LOL, Jenny! I couldn't believe when I saw this come up from 7 months ago! How many pages back must this have been buried?

What does the dead horse refer to? neutral

It refers to the fact that someone came and brought a very old thread back to life.

Jenny - does this qualify as irony, based on the resurrector? LOL
