The hardest thing for a man to accept is his position desired of God, though once it is achieved; nothing and no one can appose the happy, joyful strength of union. The Holy Spirit becomes the friend never had and found, being the body guard against all evils, in constant, always watching over with tender jealously. Those that accept God feels his awesome powerful presence always constant in their life and yearn always to be near to him; always desiring to please him. The early morning awakes them with their greeting of praise to God and the Son and the Holy Spirit; hearing the Lord soft gentle voice saying “I love you!” and the Holy Spirit words “I'm here!” Always desiring to know that they are near; And the setting of the sun bringing remembrance, of the Lord, his strength and power, therefore, thanking God in praise; sleeping peacefully under his watch.

All that God desire of Man

*******Address the Almighty Father: in the name of his Son, Praising him for the wonderful actions and character of his Son.Thank him for His Holy Spirit.

*******Love the Lord God:  the Living God the God of Israel, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob more than you love yourself and others. Constantly giving to him Praise for all his blessings, for even things that occur through trials are blessings, for they are awarded by strength, knowledge and awareness.

*******Respect the Holy Spirit: trust and follow the paths specified. The Holy Spirit will never teach and instruct another to cause and do harm to another, his instruction molds the character to be as one like God. A God of absolute loyalty and exclusive devotion.

*******To be Humble: exhibit to the Lord your understanding his strength and power of being superior. Be like that of a child, believing, trusting and having obedience in faith for God help and defense to save.

*******Through trusting and faith: allowing the hand of God to perform through you the punishment and trials of suffering without becoming bitter.

*******Showing equal: kindness and generosity to everyone, not just those you like and those you care for and those members of your group but those being enemies. The Lord mercy of death extended to those even his enemies (they were not his Israelites) though, he extended his mercy equally among all.

*******Share the word of God: smother not what the Holy Spirit has revealed to you, not through words of argumentative defense and judgment but in patience and love speak of God’s principles of truths. The argumentative and judgmental spirit is not belonging to God.

*******Be kind to strangers: do not gossip and judge, for many have entertained God’s angels unaware and remember, the one you speak against may be one greatly favored of God; and he is a jealous God of defense against those he love being true to him. They are his humble sons. His promise to save is stamped upon them.

*******Pray and confess: your sins to God, pleading for a change in character, converse with the Lord and the Holy Spirit as you would another; foster a relationship with both God and the Holy Spirit. The Lord is not eager to punish, he knows there will be the falter in judgment but he will give his mercy and the Holy Spirit will allow your understanding through each episode. Test both God, the Lord and the Holy Spirit loyalty and friendship. They will demonstrate through great power and glory!

This is all that God desire of Man and at no cost. The established friendship

Rhonda. You presume to know the heart, mind and life experiences of all those who accept God. This is not the case. We do not all see life through the same rose tinted glasses that you appear to.

She never responds to any of my challenges. hmm It is because she has only shallow beliefs?

Unknown. However, I have concluded that she is one of the “street missionaries” that is now bombarding HP.

But HP isn't a street, I'm not drunk, and I don't need a mug of soup? hmm

In all my years of church attendance, whenever some well meaning member wanted to do some 'street evangelism' I just cringed and wanted to be as far removed as possible. In the absence of a face to face challenge, perhaps the anonymous HP posters are 'an easy target'.

When Yashua told the disciples to go and preach the 'Good News' I never though that 'turn or burn' fitted His definition of good news.

Nothing is desired of us lab rats. The objective of the experiment is just to see what happens. Once the experiment is concluded, the cage will be cleaned out and that will be that. So, as one lab rat to another, don't worry about it. smile

What's interesting is that you've already considered you have enemies, folks you have never even met. But, they are your enemies because they don't believe as you do.

So, if I decided to join your faith, I too would suddenly have a whole lot of enemies.

    Thanks, but no thanks.

Interesting point, ATM. But there is another aspect that you left out. Those of us who adhere to this faith acknowledge that there is another being that is MUCH more powerful than any earthly enemies. We would rather face our enemies here on earth with His support as opposed to facing Him as an enemy with the support of any earthly being. We have already been warned how that will turn out.

"For David himself said by the Holy Ghost, The LORD said to my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool."  Mark 12:36

And which sock puppet are you? Or am I wrong and owe you an apology?

There could be, but that doesn't mean it has authority over you. You make all choices and all actions behind those choices.
Interesting statement. It speak volumes of the rising level of ignorance in the world.

Seriously, you see people as your enemy? And, that's acceptable to you? When Jesus himself said love thy neighbor as thy love self. How can you be enemies with everyone else and have peace in your heart? That's just mean.

I never said anything about myself. I was merely continuing ATM's logic.

But to answer your question... there absolutely are enemies of christians. A core tenet of Islam is to kill christians and jews. Taken directly from the Qu'ran...

Surah 9:5: "… fight and slay the pagans (infidels/unbelievers) wherever you find them."

9:29: "… kill Jews and Christians if they do not convert to Islam or refuse to pay Jizya tax."

5:33: "… maim and crucify the infidels if they criticize Islam."

47:4: "… do not hanker for peace with the infidels; behead them when you catch them."

I am not enemies with anyone by my choice. They choose to be enemies with me. There is a difference. The meanness is not on my side.

Yes, it's all about your enemies, isn't it. Enemies everywhere. Warnings. Turning your enemies into footstools.

        Sparkling morality. lol

I didn't read anything more than the title. I didn't have to. I know the answer. God would like for man to use better grammar.

God desires all men to be "born spiritually of the Spirit", a.k.a., life-giving Spirit or his own image, made powerfully available in Christ's death on the cross (John 3: 1-15) but generally overlooked by many who claim to be born-again for a season!
