      1. Write hubs with solutions for which thousands of people are searching.

      2. Write hubs which solve problems which thousands of people have.

      3. Write hubs  which are entertaining that will entice people to pass along links to your hub.

And most important-- Link all of them together in a way  that will make everyone want to share them.

After doing this-- tell me how you did it.

That's pretty much it in a nutshell.  Although if the search engines like your content, it will take less sharing or passing along effort on the part of your readers.

I write hubs on mental health, particulary bipolar/anxiety and I know they are very helpful, at least my readers say so. But still not making money. Hmmmm

Great advice here! I'm going to remember to read this each time I'm about to write a new Hub.

I agree, worked for me. I will add, try and write on low competetion topics or get backlinks for high competetion ones.

Use Google Adwords Keyword tool to see what people are searching for in your field of expertise and check the competition against that. For example if you use the phrase 'mental health illness' whilst that will be searched by many, it will also be extremely difficult to get anywhere in google for as millions of other articles will be available. If you change the key phrase to for example 'the role of anxiety in mental illness', there will be less people searching for that but probably easier to rank for ... I haven't checked those by the way that's just an example ... I find now that by researching this and writing a decent hub, I usually get on page 2 or 3 for most and page one for some .. long way to go yet though :-)

I've not got a hub yet that gets thousands of visitors a month- so my advice would be don't do as I do- don't concentrate on Cycling!

My horrible joke aside, go to the Learning Center and seriously soak up all the goodies they have in there.
