This seems far better then just over a year ago. The new layout helps but it just feels like writers here are getting along better and being helpful. This is opposed to last year when I saw competition become more important then being neighborly. I am happy......It sure makes for a better writing atmosphere and increases my willingness to reach out to hubbers. Maybe it's just me but I like the change!
NOBODY IS GETTING ALONG. WHO ARE YOU TO SAY PEOPLE ARE BEING NICE. DON'T COME IN HERE AND TRY TO SPREAD YOUR HARMONY AROUND LIKE SOME KIND OF NICENESS BUTTER ON THE TOAST OF OUR DISCONTENT!
There's still blood being splattered all over the religion and political forums everyday, but the other forums do seem to be a kinder, gentler place.
Hell hath no fury like a Hubber scorned (or at least one who feels scorned, whether or not anyone ever planned or wanted to make him/her feel that way).
Whenever I sense what I perceive as unethical conduct, I usually just clear the hell out.
I like the atmosphere lately, too, and I've only been here two months. I've seen some positive changes and less drama, which is great. I do agree that things can get hot in certain forums or threads. I avoid most of those, but I have written some political things.
Have not seen or heard any ramblings from the Hubpolice lately........ya know, the ones who are sort of like snitches and think because they have been here for awhile, they run the joint. Cracks me up, good to see people chillin out more!
I much prefer the way the forums are now, too.
I used to hardly ever post because they were full of 'personalities' who thought they owned Hubpages.
Now that I own it, their silence is deafening!!
He was banned for 3 months. For chewing gum, I believe it was!
1 month chewing gum + 2 more for talking too much. Detention hall is tough!
Haha this thread will have to close on his return as there won't be peace anymore
I'm sure it was the Chewing Gum Cod Piece and fishnets that he was caught wearing!
And No... it wasn't him Chewing the Gum, even though he had bent over backwards for many a passing stranger in the forums!
I told him not to wear them in the religious forums, but would he listen? NOOOO!
Let me guess! He sassed a hall monitor, right? That'll get you sent to the principal's office every time!
Yes, I know. But I must pretend I am shallow and therefore not implicit in anything untoward on these forums. The game, you know!
Yeah but they said that he did have nice legs though!
Fishnets always make legs look better! But then, I'm sure Cags knew that already!
He's been gone awhile now... are you sure he's not out there Drift Netting the Pacific.. with those special legs?
I hope not - if he is, who's going to restore disorder to the forums??
This time last year, Panda had just hit and many hubbers were seeing a drop of 50% or more in previously high traffic accounts. That can make anyone a little grouchy.

This forum has no ongoing moderation, so people are likely to emerge into passive-aggressive banter, or attack or defense mode. Without intervention these behaviors are rather common, if not typical to the human being.

I’ve been reading many questions on the forums about how to get more traffic to your hubs. I’m a great believer in testing something, analysing the results, refining and sharing, and I approached the subject of how to get hub views in a practical methodical way. I’ll share my techniques below and...

Okay, I didn't really want to say anything about this originally, but I do take notice of a lot of things. Lately, in forums, I've been noticing that most hub users either don't respond to my posts, or they don't talk to me that often. Sure, there's a few of them that still do, but most...

To date, I have been denied permission to ask and/or answer questions because of revenge? mark downs by disgruntled hubbers. I get blocked for a while, then un-blocked, then blocked again. Also some of my Q&As are deleted by HP staff without notice or a chance to defend my position. The Q&A...

Hi, would you get more traffic to your hubs if you participate in forum discussion. I have seen traffic increase since a started to discuss things on forums and also getting followers in my hubs. What do you think. Thanks.

I am really upset over the whole discussion about the Apprenticeship program. Now disgruntled hubbers want to have the badge removed form our profiles. When I became an "elite", when it was known as that, I was treated really badly by some petty hubbers. When I joined the AP program I fell...
