I grew up in a latin country of Europe and, of course, I love soccer. Everything else seems less interesting for me. But I can be wrong. Have your say!

It seems that everyone is going crazy over the world cup. I would say soccer. Definitely. The guys in my house don't sleep for the sake of this game. Imagine so many guys chasing over a ball???

I would say Mixed Martial Arts by far. In my opinion, it is the most intense sport today, and it requires the most intense training.

I have an interest in archery, but I am too afraid to learn it.

    It seems really cool, though.

For me its basketball and field hockey. I also like rugby, football (soccer) is okay, but it lacks discipline and the top professionals are mostly poor role models for children.

    As a player or spectator?

I like a lot of sports, but if you're talking about watching pro and college sports, it's the NFL for me. Fantasy football is a blast.

I've watched oh probably 200 high school girls basketball and soccer games in the last 5 years. That was exciting. Mostly due to my daughter playing in those games, and she is going to play soccer in college next year.

If we observe from various aspects like popularity, richness, number of competitions held in an year and so on, then definitely it is Soccer.

Even, citizens of non-soccer playing nations keep their eyes on matches telecasting on their televisions as well as they run behind regular updates too. smile

Soccer is probably the most popular sport on a global level, but I've come to appreciate ice hockey as the best sport in the world.  Mainly because I have mad respect for the guys that can play it.  It takes coordination, endurance, natural skill, and a high level of physical toughness that most sports can't touch.

I like Karate - for its philosophic nature.
Also I like dragon boating - for its spirit of teamwork and competition.
