All I have to say is the US Government confirmed mermaids don't exist.

I read about this on FB the other day, reminds me of the God argument, I just didn't know that there were many mermaid believers out there. You know, we could waste a lot of time making up creatures and deities that need proving they don't exist!

Thank goodness the onus wouldn't be on us to prove the existence of our made up creatures, thats all I can say! lol

Pufferwinkles are real! Prove me wrong! tongue

I refuse to believe that mermaids don't exist!!  Just because they haven't found any, doesn't mean they don't exist.  I think it's silly that they felt the need to make a statement about the issue.  Aren't there more important things to focus on??

Its a ploy..they do exist, but the government does not want to give them voting rights and it would be too expensive to offer them passports every time they enter international waters.

The sea food industry is secretly funding the cover-up so people don't get grossed out thinking about a half human-half fish when they take a bite into their fish-fillet.

When the government makes a statement..you know its a lie!

The question is: How much time and money did they spend on determining if mermaids exist. Three cheers for cow flatus!smile

Why in the world would government even waste taxpayer's revenue on something so ridiculous? roll

And, people think I'm the one who is nuts. roll

Cag...we spend lots on ridiculous. There are usually riders on the budget that goes before congress. These are things attached to the bill which wouldn't be approved on their own (and for good reason) This is what PORK is all about. America...it's a wonderful country.

And you think I don't know this already. I mean, this would give more credit to my continued argument about government ineffectiveness and inefficiency.
Riders? And those are what exactly? Do explain.
If that's what a "rider" is, then the American people should be completely outraged.
It would be if government actually knew it's role in society's existence.

Your fed reps do it. Pet projects that their constituents want approved (for the money, of course) The American people know. Didn't you get the memo? And...I have no clue what you know or don't know. You think I can read minds?
