   I happened to notice the facebook button is missing from all my hubs and the hubs I've read recently. Where'd it go??

      I just clicked in and see your Facebook like button on what I am viewing.  Hope that it mellows out for you soon.  Durn web gremlins stealing Facebook like buttons is very anti-union!

   For now, i've copied the info from the address bar at the top of the page and pasted it into my fb status. Hope that helps. You don't get the picture with you're link though.

      If the use the short URL you will get the picture and description of the hub on Facebook. This has worked for me in the past.
      
      You can find that link on your hub under "stats" then "Hub Metrics". A copy and paste of the URL should work for you.

   My Facebook button is missing on the hubs that I read when I use Firefox, but I've discovered that it's  present on the hubs that I visit in Safari.

   I tried to post my fb hub from an ipad with Safari n ot firefox. The fb button was there but still wouldn't send! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

    I don't see the problem. It's easy enough to go into Facebook and paste in whatever URL you want into your status. If you think the URL is truly worth sharing with your FB friends, the extra 5 seconds needed to do this is of minimal impact on your life.

       The problem is when doing it this way, the hub is shared without the picture and doesn't look as professional without it. I will do this if I can't resolve the missing button issue.

          Whenever I have put a URL up on FB, it has always shown with an image and summary.
          
          I do not know if hubs behave like this as I choose not to spam my FB friends (i.e. people I know in real life or through a long-term relationship on the Net) with everything I happen to write.

    The issue is that for some browsers, the FB like feature has disappeared. 
    
    I had the problem yesterday and finally after clearing the cache and restarting the computer, it came back. 
    
    DOM, I just checked a couple of your hubs and I see the FB likes.

       Weird, guess I'll try clearing the cache again and then restarting the PC. I wonder though if that fixes it, if it will happen again.

    Tried clearing my cache and restarting the pc, but still have no facebook button. Oh well. Guess I'll just have to use the link to this page thingy at the bottom of the page lol

       We shall issue and HP APB for those missing Facebook like buttons until HP staff comes back online tomorrow and hopefully addresses this "theft"..   Of course things have been known to fix themselves here from time to time.

          What happened to that excellent system where it said 'Share' and it did - FACEBOOK, TWITTER, whatever.  Bring back 'Share' so we can!

    Mine are missing again.. I see them, then I don't, I clear my cache and see them, then I don't.  Something is clearly not right.  This has never happened before where it keeps appearing and disappearing.

    I still see no Facebook button on hubs.   I know it's been reported to the engineers.  Is there any progress??
