Hey guys, supposing you have a six months old baby girl. The problem is she refuses to go to sleep even when she is falling asleep and crying out loud through out the day. This is a serious issue certain people have and would love to have some help on. In addition, what if the baby goes to sleep out of the blue and this makes it very hard for the parents to establish a daily routine to her. What can be the number one key to overcome this?

If all the "at-home-remedies" don't work it's crucial to visit their pediatrician. There could be something going on on the inside that you can't see, that they can.

    Hi Everyone,

Thanks for your question. In my opinion if the baby girl takes the mother milk then she(mother) would have to take more junk food and should be satisfy with her stomach too. As according to the medical point of view, It is more better for a child to take the mother healthy milk that causes the baby to sound sleep or consult with some physician too for any deficiency of the health matters.

A six month old child hasn't even been in the world as long as they were in their moms belly. To expect a schedule or routine out of a six month old is ridiculous. The best thing a parent can do for a six month old is continue to nurse on demand, hold, respond to all cries, and expect NOTHING out of the baby. It doesn't hurt though for the PARENTS to develop a routine they do  to show an example for baby. Such as always reading a book before naptime and bed time. A six month old should be taking 2 naps a day both morning and afternoon. If a baby seems to have something wrong where they can't get comfortable to sleep and the mother is nursing she may need to adjust her diet. Many mothers find things like spicy food, milk, and garlic can cause baby to not sleep well or refuse milk. If the child is formula fed the formula may need changed.
If the child is falling asleep at bad times then the parents must take notice at what times of day that is and adjust the naps accordingly, or see if the sleep is being caused from placing the child in a carseat, swing, or bouncy seat and eliminate the problem.
Babies will have trouble sleeping if there is too little ot too much stimulation. So it is about finding balance. Also soft white noise can be helful in getting babies to sleep.

I have a six month old.  He started sleeping through the night at two months, then out of nowhere started throwing tantrums at bed time and waking up throughout the night.  This started at about 5 months. He started crawling around this time, and became very independent. I tried a lot of different things but found that he is easier to put down for the night and sleeps longer if her eats vegetables and brown rice cereal before bed.  I can't give him fruit in the evening or he will be too hyper, and I'm assuming that the whole grain cereal keeps him full all night.   It also helps to wear him out by playing with him for an hour or so before you want him to go to sleep.I also found that if he even has the slightest trace of a diaper rash, he will be impossible, so I always cover his bottom with diaper rash cream before bed.  All of these things help most of the time, but every once in a while he feels sick or just wants mom, and I just have to hug him until he falls asleep.

Thkx a lot for sharing your experience, it's really helpful to read and learn about what other parents might have gone through. As a new dad, it's always helpful to know what might be going on out there with other parents just like yourself. I really do appreciate it.

Sometimes it feels like the routine will never stick. But as long as they continue with the routine, it will eventually work. Unfortunately when they fall asleep randomly, there is not a whole lot we can do.
