Has anyone else seen their views double the last two days?  What on earth is going on?

Haha, Ive seen mine kinda drop off the map like I hadn't even written a hub, but yours sounds hard too.

I'm sorry, Beth37, that sucks sad  I'm concerned because I was barely booking 70 page views a day, and then yesterday got 172... (only counting Google!)

Today I'm already up to 143.

I've never seen traffic like this.

Oh that's ok, don't feel bad. I was just complaining, but in a light hearted, woe is me kind of way... I still have on line scrabble. lol

Yes, it's great to see a return of traffic to hubs that ranked well in the past but had dropped in views.   I hope it continues. It's not back to what it was, but there is a nice increase. There are a couple of threads in the past two days that have noted this also.
I noticed a rise on Quantcast for the site.

Yes, it was nice to see WA with a hub of the day that was 3 years old!

A hub that generally gets a maximum of two views a day as well!

It was certainly a mega surprise.

Mine appear to be stalled on one number.  They increased a lot last week, and tanked this week (I found numerous stolen hubs), and have stalled.

I think I saw you mention that earlier... I'm sorry to hear that, it really sucks when you find your work out there with someone else's name attached to it.  sad

No, have not seen anything like this.

I had a brief blip due to getting a Hub of the Day, but otherwise my views are the same they have been for nearly a year after I lost a huge number of views.

Congrats on getting Hub of the Day, WriteAngled.

I've no idea what's going on with my hubs, I wrote the YUM contest hub over a week ago, now, it's really weird that all the sudden my traffic is going through the roof.  (For me, at least.)  It's not even click-thru's from YouTube, either, it's mostly Google.

My views doubled for a few days around St. Patrick's Day, lowered a little, then doubled again ths week and I'm glad for the increase. It's startling to see the ups and downs, tho.

Good luck to everyone! And congratulations to WriteAngled!

Congrats to you WA for hub of the day  You deserve it. Also glad things are looking up for traffic for some. Mine are back to normal some days. I will take what I can get. Better days may be here for a while. Yay.

There's no reason why a hub that is "older" shouldn't be eligible for an HP award.  It's not like the value has somehow gone away from what you were writing about smile

    It is motivational!  And awesome!

My final page count from Google yesterday was 211.  After weeks of being in the 50-70 range.  Absolutely crazy insane.

As of March 25th, HP's US page views were up 5% and Global was up 6% according to Quantcast.

My hub on Sinkholes multiplied over 100 X after the Florida tragedy. I'm hoping for another sinkhole in a remote area where no one is hurt, yet garners big headlines:)

*laugh*  If only there could be a natural disaster each of us has written about where no one has been injured every day!

Oddly enough, unknown to me when I made that comment, there had been a sinkhole incident in Florida (no one hurt) and my views have spiked a little. Amazing.

My views have doubled over the last few days.  I'm hoping it maintains and it's not just a surge before a big plunge.

Yep on both my accounts the views have doubled. I'm really keeping my fingers crossed that this holds up. And there was me thinking it was something I had done *doh*
