    Hi All:

This problem appeared late 3/29 and continues into the early hours of 3/30, same as the "accolades appear as text, not graphics" post I just made. I post it separately because it may be a different issue.

It is happening on IE 9.0.8112 on Windows 7
It is NOT happening on Firefox 19.0.2 on Windows XP

The stats page is not lining up correctly.

The HubTool shows a similar problem, in the need some goals section on the upper right.

    Again, IE9, Windows 7

In the meantime, until someone at HubPages has chance to look at this specific issue for you, you may want to click the compatibility button in IE to see if it resolves the issue. On the address bar in IE there is an icon that looks like a torn piece of paper. Just click it when you're on your stats page (the icon will change to blue) and see if that helps.

Again SidKemp, thanks for reporting these issues! I'm glad they're not taking place across all browsers, though I am sorry for the IE inconvenience. We'll get to this ASAP.

      Thanks Simone & KTrapp.

      Three new points:
      1) the problem is on almost every page of HubPages. For example, Answers and Comments do not line up correctly.
      2) The compatibility icon is not appearing in IE 9. According to Microsoft at http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/inte … ew#ie=ie-9 , this means that IE 9 is not seeing the problem, and not offering the compatibility button.
      3) This may help trace the problem. I saw the glitch about a week earlier ON THE HUBGREETERS SECTION ONLY. The stuff that used to appear on the right moved to the bottom. Unfortunately, I did not realize it was a glitch, and so did not report it. But it may be that whatever that was done there first, and then applied sitewide, created the problem.

My thinking is that, right now, any graphics (such as accolades, buttons, and lots more) from HubPages may not appear correctly or may cause mis-alignments in IE 9.

To make sure this is clear: I realize the problem is IE 9 only, but it is also site-wide for IE 9 users. Just about every page has display problems: missing graphics, mis-aligned texts, strange buttons.

      Happy Easter!
      Sid

        SidKemp,
Gee, so I guess I restored my computer 3 times for nothing? :-) I am experiencing each issue you mentioned. Every HP page I open has distortions and they are not "user friendly". Can we assume this will be temporary?
        Thanks

I am also experiencing all the same issues.  I thought maybe it was a new  update to the look of the site.  Thanks Sid for posting this information here and in answer to the question posted by someone else.  That is how I found this thread.  I did not find that any of this interferred with my writing and posting 2 hubs last night, however, I did have a few glitches along the way when the page froze and I had to refresh.  Thankfully, almost everything had already been saved.

I too have been having this problem for a couple of days now ... I've seen more and more issues arise over the last couple of months on Hubpages. Hmmm ... decisions decisions

I went and checked the site on IE9 and also see the issues that you reported, Sid, nor do I get the compatibility button. In addition, I checked several Hubs on IE9 and ads are not displayed at all and neither are the "Like this Hub?" social buttons that should be on the right side.

      Hi KTrapp:

I checked, and I do see ads and the Like button. So results are a bit different. But clearly:

      - every page of HubPages is affected
      - many, probably all, IE 9 users are affected
      - it does reduce the display of ads.

That makes it a serious issue for HubPages as a company!

      CantUHearMeScream - I hear you!
      Faith, you too!

Simone and Matthew - sorry this hit on a holiday weekend. I hope you can fix it soon!

I just checked some Hubs on a different computer with IE9 and the ads do display and so do the social buttons. Hopefully, them not displaying on my other computer with IE9 is something specific to that computer...
