Some people don't accept that there is Someone Who would help us and love us and give us this feeling to believe.

Are they afraid to know that hell do exist?

I am a Christian, and I fuind it odd that the church has adopted pagan beliefs such as hell into its belief system. After all, don't all pagan religions have there underworlds as well. As a matter of fact, the pagan Germanic tribes had their pagan hell, and the pagan goddess who ruled this underworld was also called "hel".

As a Christian I have been freed from this evil doctrine of eternal torture in the church made hell.

If Hell does exist, it sure as hell (tee hee) isn't anything to be afraid of.

      Separation from God? Oh noooooo~
Eternal flames? Guess no one told God that disembodied entities don't have nerve endings.
Eternal darkness? That's boring, not scary.
      All of the above? /yawn

What feeling? I never got one. Could you look into that next time you see God and ask him to send a feeling over my way? Thanks.

Hell, hades or eternal damnation has been mentioned through history. Why are some people not believing this?

No, only through Christian (and a limited number of other religions) history.  Most of the current world, as well as the past cultures, do not recognize the Christian form of hell with it's burning and eternal damnation.  Only a few religions have found it necessary to add such a fearsome thing to their folklore in order to control the masses better.

It's not a matter of believing or disbelieving in hell. It's not totally black and white on the basic fundamental level. First and foremost, before you can state that hell is actually real beyond a shadow of doubt, first you must define what Hell is (Note- there are different definitions even in the bible). Once you decide and define what hell is, you must then single out and find evidence (other than any holy book, which as i stated above has different versions of hell) that actually supports your assertion of what hell is. Once you have said evidence, then you have to submit it and present it to others and make sure it is convincing enough to where it can be accepted as unimpeachable truth... And I'm speaking on this as a Christian..

Which leads me to ask.. Do you have actual physical evidence that your view of hell is the correct one?

Prostitution has been around longer than the historic mentioning of Hell, Hades or eternal damnation.

How many solicited invitations on street corners have you accepted lately?

can you prove that hell exists, because not even all christians believe in it or buy the whole "eternal torture forever" line.  We're not afraid of hell.  You can't be afraid of something that you don't believe in.  Probably the same reason that we're not afraid of your (or any other) god.

do you believe in the Muslim version of hell?  Hades?  Do you believe in all of the other hell myths that say you'll go there if you don't believe in THAT deity?  Why are you only worried about the one that falls in line with YOUR religious worldview?
