This thread is for those who wish to blow off steam. Hopefully it will go maybe 3 days before it gets flagged an banned.
Open to anyone who wants to argue about anything
Should the death penalty be allowed? Should felons be allowed to vote? Should marijuana be legalized?
Take your pick...
I pick the same as you.... Do I win, too?
Dammit Earnest, I just went over this.
No silly, this is an agruement thread, we can't both be right!
Being "right" is subjective. I wanna WIN!!!
Ok, we all win. Of course in an arguement, a person is only wrong if they accept they are wrong.
I have argued and lost, but it is hard to admit it when you are in the heat of argument. I have argued my butt off, and have been wrong as hell.
Okay, take THIS!
Should standardized testing for college be abolished?
Is torture ever acceptable?
Are we too dependent on technology?
Are cell phones dangerous?
Should corporate America be allowed to market to children?
I don't know, never liked the whole college idea thing.
Physical torture is inhumane, Mental torture is ok.
Yes, technology is our destruction!
Cell phones are dangerous for teens and kids who shouldn't have cell phones in most cases.
I don't think it's possible to stop corporate America from marketing to children unless you also take away TV and society.
1. Copout.
2. Does that apply to felons, terrorists, spouses and children alike?
3. We agree. WOO HOO!
4. Cell phone are not dangerous for teens -- in many cases they are lifesavers.
5. I spent 20 years in brand marketing in Corporate America -- in adult beverages no less. Yes. It is possible to stop marketing to children.
4.
2. Yes applies to all that are human! lol Of course no torture to a child. If a woman has terrorist information, mess with her mind as you would a man.
3.
4. Are they life savers if a kid is in school texting when they should be learning? Ha! I did leave that statement open. I said "most" cases silly. If a child is away from parents not in school, they should have a phone for emergencies.
I believe the "marketing" would only do so much. What is more powerful, a kid watching a beer commercial or a friend offering the kid a beer? I think if we regulate one thing to make up for bad parenting, it will be like a circle of regulation. I think the work is in the parenting, not the marketing.
I just wanna WIN...I don't to argue because I'm always wrong! HA
Okay, okay kiddies.
Should the death penalty be allowed? Yes. Actually, it's scope should be broader.
Should felons be allowed to vote? No. Nyet. Nada.
Should marijuana be legalized? Sheesh. They're trying to outlaw cigarettes and then they're gonna legalize marijuana? Not in this lifetime, buddy.
Cigarettes and marijuana should be illegal and the ciggy companies made to pay for everyones lung transplants. And with their spare change, start a hemp consortium for the manufacture of non hallucinogenic hemp for the production of paper and cloth. Just think no more trees destroyed for paper and McDonalds wrappers and clothes that last 20 times longer.
LOL Do you want to leave us with any freedom? How is it the governments decision of someones own free will?
I refuse to argue anyone that refers to themselves as a hubber! you win!
Title of Miss Hubber!! You get a 10 cent adsense bonus!!!
Heh. What's up with all these strange posts, Marine? Best hubber, oh yeah, sure...
Yea I agree that these posts are strange!!! Oh shit I was supose to argue that huh?
Fuck you they are too!!! (Psss am I allowed to sware?)
Yeah, if yer going to swear, spell it write - sheesh!
I think when other people point out bad spelling they feel special.
Duuu ahh do people still stay this one? Darn it Im giving away my age!!! GRRRRR
Hows this for an argument? who's the best choice for our country, democtrat or republican? hahahahahaha i had to get the political fight started here and i love it
p.s obama is a loser

Are people getting "stupider", as a society, in the U.S.?Are people getting "stupider", or is it my imagination that high school and college graduates are far less educated and bright as they used to be before, say, the 1980s?

Should medicinal marijuana be allowed nationwide in the USA?It might stop some of the gangs from Mexico smuggling in marijuana and create so much needed tax money!

Are we allowed to use affiliate marketing in our hubs other than Amazon ? For instance, can we mention stores we have and products we save (aka zazzle, cafepress, etc), do product reviews for places other than amazon, etc ? I thought of comparing various A.I. image generators as well. I'm...

So there was the whole "Dale thread", and the constant battle between the Atheists/Believers... I just read a thread where a woman singled out the HOTD. It seems there is no subject too small for at least a small group to take umbrage with. So from now on, let's all talk about something...

Do you argue that solidly middle, upper middle, & upper class/highly educated parents raisetheir children to be leaders, managers, professionals, & entrepreneurs while lower middle, working, upper lower, & lower class/less educated parents raise their children to be merely...
