lol.... I'm literally laughing out loud at the ridiculousness. People go through these lengths just to bash me. HAHAHA, like honestly I'm laughing. Since I posted a forum on my encounter with comment trolls someone left another comment on my poem. I replied this time and after I replied, they were basically speechless and they tried to engage in a troll-fest which was quickly denied. Now look, (Removed link) this profile is directed at me in an attempt to troll. Lol! That's why I'm laughing, somebody going through these lengths just to get someone who could care less mad. Anyways I know hubpages stores Ip addresses so I think the staff should find out the actual user of this hubber and ban them.

That cant be a real place Im assming.
Nunavut is a territory of Canada, separated from the NorthWest Territories about 15 years ago I think.
But why would anyone think this is a bashing of some kind?
ROFLMAO...
Oh my...
1. You should probably write directly to the staff... although it will surely get less attention that bringing it to the forums.
2. They didn't violate TOS as far as I can tell.
3. They show a tremendous amount of creativity. Kudos to them. Isn't that what creative writing is about?
LOL
Poetic, you should do a hub on what you feel qualifies as a troll!
They will, if you quietly report them to team @ hubpages.com instead of giving the trolls the publicity they crave.
Yes I reported them to that email, thanks Marisa.
When someone posts a comment on your Hub, that person's IP address is listed at the bottom, to the right where you approve or deny the comment. With the IP address, you can find the ISP (Internet Service Provider) in ten seconds and report them for spam to their ISP.
The best way to reach the staff is by email.
The best way to encourage trolls is to link to them, and post strenuous public emotional reactions -- that way they know you are a really satisfying person to troll,
Thank for seeing this was legit this time. Yeah I removed the link.
Actually, it's not legit.
You have absolutely no right to ask that someone else's work be banned. You call it trolling, but it's actually just parody. Parody is a valid form of creative writing.
I, for one, would be really upset if HP decided to ban someone for parody... especially since they have a creative writing category for it.
(A category that would likely make passing QAP a little easier, if correctly used, just sayin')
I'm looking to ban the "actual" user.
Why? Especially if, as you say, it doesn't bother you?
(BTW-- it is usually very hard to reach the staff on a weekend.)
For writing parody?
Because you don't like his writing?
So if someone doesn't approve of what you write, you should be banned too?
Hehe, this will be the last response to non-sense. But anyways getting rid of 1 more jerk will help the whole community.
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, you should be proud that your work inspires others to imitate it.
It's a shame you're having to go through this, poetic, but your bringing attention to this "hubber/troll" has made the situation worse. You have given said hubber/troll exactly what he wants. You seem to laugh it off and say it rolls off your back but it is clearly bothering you, which is why you want the person banned.
You already have all the controls you need to control the situation: setting your comments on your hubs and deleting any offensive comments; ignoring said hubber/troll; ceasing to post any more forums about the situation; and writing a letter of complaint if you feel you are being bullied or harrassed. Let HP handle it and let it go.
I tend to agree with psycheskinner about how your reactions have satisfied the intentions of the troll - - to get a rise out of you - - and you keep feeding into it. I also tend to agree with MelissaBarrett regarding the shrewd use of parody to mess with you. Unfortunately, it may be hard to ban the hubber/troll if you can't prove that the format used is to insult or make fun of you. You probably should have just sent the profile link in a letter to HP. Instead, what you've done is increase the said troll's traffic. We all love to see a car wreck and went to visit and read the hubs in question.
Lastly, poetic, keep working on the quality of your writing, particularly punctuation and grammar. Don't continue to give the trolls your Achille's heel. Some people are just mean and irritated by the weaknesses of others and will continue to exploit for fun if you let them. I wish you peace.
You are very kind and helpful, Janshares.
Hope you aren't thinking I'm a troll! I have left comments on several of your hubs before but now I see them deleted.
Sorry, dreaming of posting on the great PoeticPhilosophy's hubs doesn't count as posting.
I am curious, as to how did you discover they had done this less than 49 mins. after they joined up as that id/profile?
A person who is trolling a person or a site usually seeks a lot of attention in forums etc. did they make you aware of it in a comment or something?
"Don't think too much." I would say sometimes it is wise to take your own advice but maybe you do.
True, I do haha. Sorry I didn't mean to be rude sorry if you perceive it that way.
Um. It was rude. Sorry if you can't see that.
He doesn't. Just like he doesn't see what made him a target in the first place...
Some would see this whole thing as a learning moment... For some, their lives seem to be full of these learning moments... yet they seem to be confused as to the reason why it keeps happening over and over.
I'll wager something like this has happened before... and I'll wager something like this will happen again.
Ice-skating uphill.
smh
Oh so it's comedy now your admittedly calling me a target.. Hmm. Ok.
Actually I said it was Parody. Very well done parody. Quite a bit more creative than any coughed up doggerel. Look parody up, it always has a target.
Parody takes the obvious flaws of the target and emphasizes them for comedic effect. No obvious flaws and parody won't work. Think about it
But yes, it was funny as all hell... so I guess it's comedy too.
Paraody/comedy same thing. Only one who seemed to laugh at it was you, shows ur true colours.
LMAO... nope, lots of people laughed. I'm just the only one who posted.
And no, comedy and parody aren't the same thing. As a creative writer who is just oozing talent... you should know that... right?
And there isn't a person on the forums who has read anything I've posted who doesn't know my true colors...
I see you have a big dig in this topic. I'll leave it here, I have no time to "feed" this post anymore.
Very well, just remember those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.
I'm curious about this parody/trolling.
Can anyone post the name of the article?
Thanks for answering. I don't intend to throw any fuel on the fire, but would like to read it and decide for myself.

I have been on Hub Pages about a year and I have written about 27 Hubs and they have received close to 5000 views, which I felt was not bad and my status hovers between 82-88. Last week I had about 8 of my Hubs featured, which again seemed ok. Now magically overnight, I have all these codes now...

Has anyone heard anything about the future of poetry and fiction in terms of niches? I am a bit concerned that all us poets will get lost in the shuffle somewhere

Ok, maybe it's just me, but how articulate do you have to be to post pictures of half naked woman into a Hub, and call it creative writing?

Write a Hub that is outside your comfort zone in 2015. (If you normally write informative articles, try a short story or poem. If you're a creative writer, consider a tutorial or explanation Hub.)This above sentence was copied from the Weekly hub news we received today. I started writing on...

You know, I see forum posts complaining about how the forums are boring or dying. I see people complaining about how there's all "Indian Aunties" hubs or picture hubs, how people don't edit, it's all marketing crap and nothing good to read... and then I find these amazing...

I see this message when my Hub is rejected: "Heads up! It looks like your Hub is not cleared for publication because it did not pass the Quality Assessment Process. No need to fret; every new Hubber goes through Boot Camp, and all you need to do is improve the Hub so that it meets our quality...
