I think I'm fed up...

I have a 2700+ word, programming code hub that routinely racks up 500+ visits a month these days.

Some mturk just piddled on it and gave it a hubscore of 59.

Lots of luck me seeing HP putting that hub in the Discover More Hubs sections...

Not to mention my paranoia re: my profile score dropping below the 85, no-follow demarcation.

And now I have to buy a new teddy bear. Cuz I just ripped off the head of my current one.

OK. Rant concluded. Back to my nap.

Keep trying. When your hub is that long you should try to read it over a few times, or even have others read it before submission. You may be surprised at the errors that you discover each time you read.

The code syntax is absolutely, positively error-free; so said the clients' computers who ran it. Mturks rating a programming hub is about as stupid as me trying to rate a recipe hub.

Sorry to hear that someone scored your informative Hub badly.

I believe no-follow only happens when your HubPages author score is 75 or below, so you shouldn't have anything to worry about on that note.

The new threshold is 85, not 75.  I saw that confirmed by Matthew, I do believe, in another official "yellow" notice me post.

The score seem to change each time you produce a well written hub. So keep trying to improve on each hub. Don't forget that you can also edit every hub and make each one better

I am sorry to hear this. I wish you luck with that hub. Poor Teddy, though! How can you nap peacefully without a teddy bear?

I will pray for your teddy bear.  Or for a new one to show up.

Meanwhile, I just encountered something up with which I am fed. Another story, for another time.

Uh-oh. Anything I can help with?

Meanwhile, I'm starting to become afraid to update my hubs. sad

On a more cheerful note, I've been a productive little critter today. Getting things done all over the place.

Thanks for the offer - you know I love you. I posted a thread about a Hubber who lost her brother, and it's just plain gone now. I think it's because I added a comment about an incident years ago when he organized a (very appropriate, but 'interesting') protest against a group widely known for hate crimes.

Assuming my reference to that incident (which was openly reported in family newspapers) led to the thread being nuked, why didn't they just delete the problem, not the whole thread? The Hubber sure needs our thoughts and prayers.

Thanks for asking. I just feel . . . Odd.  And a bit frustrated.

They moved it to the topics forums. I bumped it.

Where is the Topics forum?  It's not showing up on my history of posts. Can't find that forum.

Thanks - I'm glad it didn't get deleted, but I am sure I didn't put it in Health. Makes no sense, considering the times we see similar posts here. Oh well.

HP does sneak in and move things around when we are not looking. It's happened to me many a time.

I need to post some fun here. Maybe we will get your teddy bear back (emotionally). Stay tuned.

There is a Teddy Bear store somewhere where we can help him build a new teddy -- maybe with a HubPages logo on a little hoodie for the bear.

Lol!  Actually, an HP teddy bear would be a great contest prize.

I posted a vacuous drivel thread.  We're all writers - surely we can be more creatively inane than people on FB.

Did somebody steal it?  My best hub was stolen, dropped lower than a snakes hips,. Took months for it to rebound. You should investigate..
