The first thing which comes to my mind is that it might be possible that you have not copied and pasted the google adsense code properly in your hubpages affiliate settings. Check it out.

There is no particular idea Martin that how much adsense pays per click but I am not concerned about this for you.

Please tell me how many page impressions you are receiving via your 8 hubs per day in your adsense account.

Oh my God. You have got your adsense account just approved yesterday and you have already received 60 page impressions, then why you are bothered about ctr, ecpm etc. For any problem of yours, just log on to google and search "CTR" OR CLICK THROUGH RATE, ETC.

If you have pasted it correctly then wait. Write Hubs that are original and will attract traffic and invariably generate clicks.

Yes packerpack is right. If you are publishing original content, then also you have to wait for some time because you will definitely start receiving clicks but it is possible that it take some more time for some people.

Around three years back, the first click in my adsense account came after one and a half month of publishing my first blog at blogger.

How long have you had Adsense for?

How many pageviews are you getting? (according to hubpages)

Are there ad impressions showing in your Adsense stats? (no need to tell us how many)

You're new. Don't sweat it. It will take months before you're getting decent traffic and a good amount of clicks.

In the meantime concentrate on writing unique and useful hubs.

I'd also only use Amazon capsules that display products that are in context with the content.

And not spend so much time linking to all my hubs on each hub when they're not covering the same topic.

It takes time to get clicks.  And remember, you only get credit for sixty percent as Hubpages gets forty percent.  You will see your revenue increase over time. Pennies at first then more and more
