I was pleasantly surprised to see my hubber score hit 100. Now if I can just get this traffic thing . . .

I wish to thank all of you who responded to this forum post. I'm not sure how I got the score exactly, except, perhaps, because I've kept writing for Hub Pages for over two years.

I know my grammar, spelling, and organization are above average, and I am very detailed with my informative projects. I do try to promote my writing on social sites, such as those listed under the profile page (edit mode).

I respond to hub comments and answer a few questions or make a comment on the  forum from time to time.

What I think doesn't count is my editorial help to other hubbers through Fan Mail. I just don't think that registers (maybe it does, I don't know).

I encourage those with low scores--just don't give up. Love your craft of writing and sharing with others. If you have a hub that persistently has a low score or is unfeatured, send it my way (you can cut and paste into Fan Mail), and I'll do my best to take a look at it and offer some suggestions along with editorial corrections, if any.

        Blessings to all! ***

Thanks for answering my question, it was very helpful.
I never knew that about Fanmail, I certainly will ask of your help if need and thank again for the kind help.

I have been a member for over six years but never did really understand how to use HubPages, now I'm a  ex Squid, I'm learning how to and enjoying writing with my new knowledge.

Congratulations, Marie, it feels good doesn't it. I remember one time when mine hit 100 and I actually made some money, but I haven't been able to post enough hubs to keep it up, so you handle that for me, will you! LOL

    Congratulations Marie. Great achievement.

Maybe you could give us some pointers on how you did it, I see you only have 64 hubs. So it's not worked on lots of hubs.

Interested as a exSquid, when I make a new hub my score goes down.

    Appreciate ideas.

Elsie Your score will go down until your hub is rated.  If you get some comments and or votes and views your score will go back up.  It fluctuates for various reasons.

Thanks for the comment Beaddoodler, I didn't know that, I'm not really worried only I didn't understand it dropping, sort of put me off of writing another one.

I saw another person with a score of 100 but not sure what it exactly means over someone with a score of 90. I am still trying to figure out why when I publish a new hub my hubber score drops 6 to 10 points.

Congrats, Marie.  100 looks great on you!  Your hubs are well written and informative.  I especially like the hub about Pearl Buck.  She's always been a favorite author of mine since childhood.  Enjoy!
