Does anybody have any clue what is up with these nonsense comments? I'm sure I'm not alone. They in no way pertain to my page and really make no sense. Strangely enough, they don't link to anything either. Anybody else have this happening and any idea why it is happening? Thanks.
I've received them too. Sometimes they are anonymous comments from non-users who just don't like your hub, and sometimes the commenter has created an account with a link to a website on their profile page, so you can see they are just trying to promote some site. Sometimes they are actually in a foreign language.
You can lookup the IP addresses to see if they are coming from the same area (or a proxy server), and you can flag them as spam so that the IP gets blocked if they are doing it a lot. But I'm afraid they are often just one of life's mysteries.
yeah , i received these nonsense comments that aren't related to my hub, I think those are spammers from Bubblews
Here is an example:
"Your deep-seated pathology and panrioaa is duly noted. So is your brainwashed polemic and ape-like emotional response. It would appear a piece out of Faux News. Congratulations, you are a careful student. Please grab a gun and march up the hill to the marching orders of whomever or whatever you believe. And take your fellow idealogues along with you for the ride. Just don't ask sane and decent people to participate. Iran has not attacked another country for over 300 years. Iran is a signatory member of the non-proliferation treaty, there is no evidence that Iran has obtained a nuclear weapon and if they did, so what? Israel, despite having some 200-300 nuclear weapons, is not a signatory to the non-proliferation treaty. China and Russia have already committed to backing Iran in any conflict which is ginned up by the neocons and Israel. While one acknowledges the position that Israel is in, for the most part of its own making, it appears to be fully capable of defending itself. I hope it can and does. Without me or my country. One would think that the various groups surrounding Israel might back off a bit if the Israelis refrain from ethnically cleansing and otherwise committing unspeakable horrors against the Palestinians (the harvesting of organs from dead Palestinians reported in the Swedish press being duly noted- please look it up). If not, then they should expect the type of response which comes their way. You obviously confuse a self-described informed libertarian patriot with your own parched view. Think what you want. Or is it the point, typical of such people as you who diatribe on websites to try to move the dialog into the false left-right paradigm, rather than appropriately deal the many false statements you make. The bottom line is that the neocons and through their proxy, the Likudnic Israeli government (distinguished from the Israeli people who appear to be much more sane than you or they), are trying to start WWIII and there is an overwhelming majority in this country (and even in Israel) who wish to forestall that event and to keep this great country of ours, the United States of America, the country which is my first and last priority, out of a cataclysm from which there is no escape. Your fealty to Israel as opposed to the United States, is duly noted. If you believe it appropriate, you should act on it- and deal with whatever consequences emerge from that action. GD ..."
I received them too. Lots and lots of them and I think this is a bot. This is an auto-generated program to comment any webpage. Does hubpages made some counter act against this? Please help.
Yep, please report these comments as spam as soon as you see them. It helps us determine that there is a problem, figure out where the comments are coming from, and ultimately block the source.
Thank you. I will keep reporting them as spam then
Hi Christy, I got 9 of these comments last night. Where and how do I report them?
One other odd thing, one of these comments is on my one and only unfeatured hub. Jiust thought that was a little strange.
I get them too!! I have no idea where they are coming from or what they are but my best guess is simply spam/bots.
Generally nonsense comments are fake accounts trying to get through membership filters so that they can post spam later. Most sites auto-ban people who post spam right away, so this is how they try and avoid get caught in that kind of filter.
Yep I have had 3 show up over the past few days. One was a product promotion spammer but not too sure what the others were up to. It was like they were spinning words to create a comment. Plain old silliness that didn't make an iota of sense.
thanks for this information, I will be ready for this nonsense comments.
I get these also, and always ban them. I suspect they're test posts to see if the comments are automatically approved so they can return to leave link spam.

In a 90 minute 'debate', neither Joe Biden nor Sarah Palin even once used the dreaded P-Word. Both candidates made a point of declaring their unquestioned support for their no.1 ally and friend in the Middle East, Israel. Biden, once only, allowed for the possibility of a "2-state...

I feel that Israel is being shoved into a corner by the Palestinians who want to establish an independent state for themselves at the expense of Israel's territory. Israel's territory was given to her by God under the Abrahamic Land Grant.NONE of this territory was to be relinquished to...

They attack their own women in Tahrir Square and attack Christians in their churches. What kind of government can we expect from people like this. I think they NEED a boot on their necks, they can't behave themselves on their own. People get the leaders they...

Do you read negative comments received on hubs?People can give you a bad review on a product, on your writing or on a business. Do you take in negative comments lightly?

Today I received a very hateful, spiteful message on one of my hubs from a visitor named "Local Yokel". Just wondering if anyone else has heard from this individual. I have a pretty thick skin, but this one really got to me.

A Bill, “H.R. 4133: United States-Israel Enhanced Security Cooperation Act of 2012,” legally binds America to a “Jewish” state. The Resolution was passed under a procedure called “suspension of the rules” typically reserved for non-controversial topics requiring little debate and allowing for a...
