All my tweets from HubPages are showing 401 errors.  My links page is showing that there are no errors!  How do I  fix this, please?

The links on your tweets all have a hashtag in them, not sure how they got there.

Should one not use a hashtag to promote a subject, for instance, wet felting?

Not in the link.  People add words/phrase with a hashtag separate from the link.

I just tweeted your doily cap hub using the blue twitter share button on the hub and it worked and took me to your article with no problem.  How did you put the link in your tweet?

I used the tweet button on Hubpages. It seems that it is not all of them.  I tried using a URL at the top of the page, but that did not work everytime either.

Weird, I just looked at the slippers one you just tweeted and it has a hashtag in it too and brings up a 401 error.

It may be the hashtag.  I tried a few more and they seemed OK.  Will keep an eye on it.   I really appreciate your help, thank you so much.

Interesting, I checked one of my tweets for the same hub and it shows a 401 error.  Not all of the hubs are showing 401 errors.

I looked at your twitter feed too and it looks like sometimes you are using the hashtag correctly, other times not. When you put the hashtag right in the URL it is not going to work anymore, so that may be your problem.
I use the hashtag for every article I put on twitter. You can make a short statement like "Want to make a fun and comfy #wetfelted #cave for your #kitten? #cat http://hubpages.com/art/How-to-make-a-W … e-Tutorial
Be sure to add an image at the bottom of your tweet. If your tweet has an image of a cute kitten in the wet felted cat cave, it is much more likely to be retweeted, and you are much more likely to get page views.

      DrMark1961 and Glimmer Twin Fan
I do appreciate  the help and advice which both of you have so freely given me  It really does mean a lot  when someone holds out a helping hand to a fellow Hubber.  I would have been completely unaware of this problem had Glimmer Twin Fan not told me about the 401 error.
Thank you to both of you,
      Sally.

Thanks for that very helpful comment.
I never knew how to use the Hash Tags on Twitter correctly either.
