In the last few weeks I have watched my traffic decrease daily, it's just about gone. Any websites out there that one could suggest that I move to? I just hope to find a "shelter" for my articles.

I noticed a facebook page; do you post links to your articles? Or maybe make a page for your writing.
There are many social sites you can draw attention to your work.

I took a look at your hubs and wondered if you are promoting your work anywhere, Twitter, Facebook or Pinterest!   I wonder if with just a little work in these quarters you might not produce some good results here.  Your writing appears to be very good.

I'd check to see if your most popular hubs have been stolen, could be the reason for the traffic drop.

Mine too, and so far today has been the worst ever. No traffic. It was never wonderful but now there is none whatsoever. I'm just about ready to give up.

Wow, you are very prolific. Most of your hubs seem to have been written recently. You have to give it time for Google to find you and trust you, and for the readers to come.

Sharlee01, I notice you have a lot of fashion Hubs.

HubPages just launched a new niche site for fashion a few weeks ago, and moved what they felt was the highest-quality content to that new domain.

That means all of HubPages top fashion content is now not sharing traffic with the fashion content that has remained behind.  This is probably impacting views because all the best stuff just isn't here anymore.

Well I've not written something new here in quite a while but ever since the merge my traffic nosedived and really not sure why and I got disheartened as always put a lot of work into my Hubs. I had a handful of hubs doing really well and even they took a dive. Many people say articles chosen for niche sites seem to have boosted traffic so hopefully I will get picked (Hubpages do a Gaming one!)

Just written a very thorough review for the mobile game Clash Royale (which will become an even bigger game than it is now I believe) so awaiting it to be published. Will be interesting what traffic levels I'll receive to another 'Evergreen' hub. Very surprised there wasn't a hub already so with any luck I'll get a lot of views/help a lot of people.

I've been having the same problem for more than a year.   I've finally nearly given up keeping them updated.  Someone mentioned promoting . . . I'm on hubpages (first Squidoo) because they attracted a lot of google traffic.  If I have to drum up my own traffic, why wouldn't I just use my own blog or send people directly to my store.  And since Hubpages won't allow me to promote my own Amazon products on pages that are not only relevant, but freely give away much of the content of those products, why should I promote my hubpages?   I write because I love to write, but when I'm sending all the traffic, why should I split the ad revenue . . . I've considered moving my content, but I'm pretty sure all of the sites like this have similar issues.  Google just isn't doing a good job of sending stuff our way.  And because there is just so much content on the internet these days, there's too much for them to choose from.  I know that's not much help for you . . . it's mostly just me venting . . . I'm getting ready to start sending out e-mails again.  The last time I did that, traffic at least doubled . . . probably good for others who have pages related to mine that get featured on my pages.
