   Hi Hubbers,
   
   I received one of those 'Your Article Could Be Featured!' emails - which, as you know means that they don't like something about your article. This is the 'advice' that was included:
   
   A moderator made the following suggestion for your Hub:
   Every product in the article should contain significant, useful information beyond what can be found on Amazon, as well as your personal experience and opinion. Always provide this information when adding products or reduce the number of products in the article.
   
   I have only one Amazon product in that article, and it does pertain to the subject - very much so. What do you think? Thanks ahead of time.  Questionnaire for Christian Churches and Congregations of Faith: How Well Do You Know Your People? http://hub.me/ak9PR

      Hi Catherine,
      I read your hub and am so happy you wrote about this topic, as young women are not getting the information they need. I am a strong supporter of Planned Parenthood. I graduated HS in 1973, the year Roe v Wade was passed, and 2 of my friends had abortions. Their BFs all declared their undying love, and left as soon as they got the news, and not one even offered to pay for the abortion. They didn't offer a ride to the facility, or even care if she was OK afterwards. It's been years now, and this still bothers me. Since they were barely 18, some only by a few months, doctors and clinics tried to strong arm them into telling their parents, but most chose not to. (Planned Parenthood doesn't do that).
      
      I laughed at your first sentence here, I dislike the phony "Your Featured Article, blah blah" that means they don't like something too.
      
      They are really strict about the Amazon capsules. Although you give description, you have to say something like, "I counseled a young woman in my congregation about this topic and she felt the book was very helpful information." You have to show hand's on familiarity with the product. Or say you read it and gave it to a young person who you knew would benefit from the info in it. Best Wishes.

      My take is that this title is not as relevant as it may appear. Your hub is not actually about the personal struggles of women who have abortion.Your hub is about a survey. Remove the amazon capsule.
      
      It might be appropriate to use the book in your follow-up hub that reports the results of your survey. If you do decide to use it, make sure you give a personal review. For example, "This book really opened my eyes to what it means to have an abortion. ...."
      
      Also, I think it might be useful to have an open-end question--the kind of question without pre-listed answers. When women talk in their own words, it will help you understand the answers to the other questions. It will give you quotes to use to illustrate the feelings behind the numbers you gather. I make this suggestion based on what I have learned in my career as a market researcher.

         I agree Catherine. The title should probably be a little shorter, and make mention of the fact that the endgame is a survey.

      Thanks so much for the feedback - almost all of you, ha! Very helpful. I assumed the word 'Questionaire' was interchangeable for 'Survey' - among other things.
      
      Pen ("I think you know well why your hub hasn't been featured") - If I had known, I would not have asked the question. One measley Amazon hub that had to do with the topic just seemed like they were being picky to me. Thanks for the assumptive observation.

      This article was featured 'as is' for at least a year. I just received feedback after making changes - which have improved the article rating, thanks! But, it is still unfeatured for who-knows-why reasons, LoL! I've gone straight to email support, now - done guessing.

         The reason is the Amazon capsule. 
         
         I'd suggest you read my article on The Basic Rules, because it sounds as though you may not be up to date with the latest rules.
         
         There are TWO rules for using an Amazon capsule.  One is that it must be relevant to the main topic of your Hub.  The other is that you must give a personal recommendation for the product.  The book meets the first criteria but not the second.
         
         I also suggest checking the layout in Mobile preview.

            If I understand correctly, my 'PERSONAL recommendation about reading more stories of other Christian girls who have chosen abortion' - needs to be more 'in your face' as opposed to implied? That just seems like something I have to force.
            
            And I'm not sure why you have italicized 'main' topic in your response - but a book about a Christian girl who chose abortion is directly about the main topic of the hub. It is a continuation of the link I have to my own personal blog on the exact same topic.
            
            This is just more motivation to get my arse in gear and get my stuff moved into blogs. I know I should have done that a while ago. Thanks anyway.

               I italicised "main" because I wanted to emphasise it for others who might read the post.  You'll note, I said your choice of product DID meet that requirement.
               
               Re the personal recommendation, I should have said, ".... for that SPECIFIC product".   Recommending people read more stories on the subject is a generic statement, it doesn't tell the reader why that book is the best choice.

   Your title is rather cumbersome. Is somebody going to enter that string of characters into a search engine? I don't think so.
   
   The embedded links take readers away from your page. Do you want that?
   
   Images need to be creative commons/ public domain. I can't tell if yours are.
   
   HubPages has stopped using right floating capsules. They don't work well on mobiles and that's where a lot of people read articles.
   
   There are several random capital letters and words in all caps are seen as shouty.

   I think you know well why your hub hasn't been featured. The moderator has clearly said to give significant and valuable information on the suggested product and why you recommend buying it. Feed the explanation in the description of the amazon product. Viola, that's all!

   @ Misfit Chick, I hadn't intended interpretation of my comment that way. Apologies if it sounded differently. All I meant was, the QAP team had highlighted what they needed you to sort out. Rest was not the issue. Otherwise the team would have mentioned it too. For example, proofread the article, or the Hubpro would have snipped your title or links to make the Hub better etc.
