Hello, Hubbers. It's me, Erick. Recently, I've been having some trouble witn a certain pop star named Sabrina Carpenter. There's a concert coming in Ft Lauderdale, but my parents said that they don't have enough money. I need my concert to keep being a fan of her's. Without tit, I am nothing. What do I do?
I have never been to a pop star concert in my life. I also have no desire to go to one. All that terrible noise and disorganized noise. Yuk. Why would you consider yourself nothing if you didn't go to a concert?
Hi, Erick. We haven't heard from you in a while, I was wondering if you were okay.
I understand how you feel. Going to a concert is really important if you're a huge fan. Is there anything you can do to get some money together? Maybe do some favours for the people you live with like cleaning their rooms/fixing their computers, etc. for cash. Might be worth looking into it, so you can save up and make the gig!
I'm not allright. I feel very negative, and Sabrina Carpenter is my life. I've been having huge problems with my self-esteem. Someone permanently blocked me, and, as a result, I started blocking my friends, including Sabrina Carpenter herself. I have twitter, by the way.
No she isn't. Your life is your life. Don't exaggerate.
And stop dramatizing minor glitches. Everyone experiences disappointments. At your age it's time you learned to live with them; after all you're not a little child.

Hello Ivan,
I can see you that you're having a rough time but you or NOT nothing! I've been there and I know how it feels to be so low that it's all you see of yourself!
I don't know your situation at home so I can't speak on it. However, I can say without knowing you that you are a very special person who's just so blinded by the struggles in your life that you just can't see that.
I don't want to get too personal on here. If you like, you we can talk via fan mail.
Hold on, you will make it!
...and the Unintentionally Hilarious Typo of the Day Award goes to....
Concerts are VERY expensive. I was never able to go to any concerts when I was a teenager. I've attended only a few as a grown-up. A pop star can have millions of fans, but only a few thousand can see a concert. That doesn't mean the other fans are not still fans.
Hi Erick, sometimes the attachment are so deep that one can't feel the reality. I know not being able to meet one's desire because of financial constraint could be hurting. But hay, your life is precious and you are possibly more gifted than Sabrina. Yes, maybe if you focus more on building yourself than dying to be someone's fan, you might have a chance to watch more concerts, travel the world, and enjoy good things.
Pls, take yourself before the mirror and look if you will see Sabrina in there. Does he or she know you exist? I guess not!
Focus on yourself. Bury that damn feeling that you are nothing without Sabrina. You are something. Someone. A talent being and a huge success. I don't want to watch Sabrina but I would love to watch you someday, Erick! But if you are not strong. If you don't get pass this unreal feelings to the real thing. How are you going to make that possible? The world believes in you. The world wants to watch you. So do I.
Be strong Erick. You'll get pass this.
Goodluck!
Hi Ivan, If your old enough to write here, you should be old enough to earn your money to but a ticket. Why would you need your parents to do that. You need to think more positive. Concerts can be great but please don't it more than it is. Try to be more balanced. I have written a few articles about mindfulness and postive thoughts. It might be good for you to read them. You are in charge of your own life.
If you read his profile, his is autistic. An intelligent one that is. As a mother of an autistic girl of 22 I can understand totally.
We know, Lois. Sometimes Erick needs sympathy and encouragement, at others he needs a bit of a push. He's a good lad and doesn't take offence.
He's been working hard on his writing and has at least three articles moved to niche sites in the last week. That's what he should concentrate on: his writing career.
Three? Last time I checked, I've had only 2, the Owlcation one and the Soapboxie one. I have 8 articles on niche sites, or did I lose track? Anyways, I have met her (twice), she followed me on March 2, 2015, and she knows I exist, but I'm doubting that right now.
The question is what that means for how the forum should respond to his off-topic pleas for affirmations.
They should just move the forum somewhere else, or at least ban me from Hubpages.
What? Sort of pick it up and run away while you're not looking?
These forums are about hub writing, if you want to post here about other topics, do so on the "topical" half of the boards hubpages.com/forum/topical

Is it rude to sing along at concerts? My opinion: absolutely, yes, it's beyond rude! It's downright obnoxious! But I recently came across a forum of people who feel the opposite, so now I'm curious about the general opinion.

I have been to over 80 concerts/shows, and it's really hard to pick my favorite! What was yours?? Can you remember your first concert? Mine was Bob Dylan that my dad took me to when I was 6.

This is an offshoot of mickeySr.'s forum thread on first concerts. What was your most exciting concert you attended? Mine was seeing David Bowie in Vancouver in 2004.

Can anyone remember the best concert they've ever attended? In 1997 I saw The Rolling Stones for the first time and it still ranks as my favorite concert! KISS would run a close second!
