Hi Hubbers,
I'd like some help with passing the Quality Assessment Process. Will you please give feedback on my article Part-worn tyres: To buy or not to buy? (must be signed in to view). What can I do to improve? Thanks!
It's a thin rewrite of this article, even down to the intro, sub-headings, and the UK spelling of tyre:
http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/car-news/c … s-uk-roads
Your intro "Depending on who you ask, part-worn tyres can either be a great money saving method or a very risky game."
The original: "Depending on who you ask, part-worn tyres are either a great money-saver or a risky gamble."
Changing a few words does not make your article original.
Your list of tips is copied word-for-word.
This is plagiarism and is not permitted at HubPages.
I'm wondering why you thought it was acceptable to do that?
Hey! I didn't, I hired a copy writer that took advantage of my lack of time. Wont be happening again and thanks for pointing that out.
You hired someone to write a Hub for you? Please, do not waste your time. You can earn money on HubPages, but certainly not enough to pay someone else to write your articles. If you're not able to write yourself, HubPages is not worth it for you.
Hi Marisa, No I did not hire someone to write a Hub for me. I hired someone to write a bunch of content for me (this being one of them). I just recently learnt about Hubpages and thought I'd try out the publishing process.
Well, writing here involves a little more than just pressing the publish button. To make a decent income, you have to put some work in. It's always good to spend some time researching what a platform requires.

If you don't have much time to invest, then HubPages is probably not for you.
Should you continue to post content submitted to you by others, it's a good idea to check for plagiarism before publishing (and paying them).
All this has been taken on board. Thanks a bunch!
Your article is informative but short try to divide it into parts with the title of each section. HubPags prefer long articles.
