I think alot of the time, girls start out looking for the "Abercrombie model" type of guy. She looks for muscles and well defined jaw lines.....and then she realizes that her lovely better half is cheating on her with just about everything that comes along.

This is my story..because I've dated college football players to Hollister model candidates. It's not worth it.

Regardless of how handsome the exterior may appear, it's hard to find a good looking guy that isn't toting a huge ego to match those good looks or has some deep issues of entitlement, thinking that his good looks make him "worthy" of ALL of your attention and other things.

I roll my eyes when I see guys like that now.....and I actually dated guys that I KNEW would never cheat on me for a change. I dated guys with average looks and not-so-average hearts smile A wise decision indeed.

NOW, I've lucked out because I'm happy with the most handsome man I've ever met......AND he's also got a heart of gold to match. I'm one lucky woman.

    By not being jerks?

    Seems like the #1 possibility.

I would definitely have to say it weighs a lot on the guys' personality. You can get a really good looking guy who will be a total A hole to the girl, but then you can get the average guy who treats the girl like a queen. Opens the door for her, notices her new haircut and nails, takes her out, shows her love and support. All of these things will help out greatly, at least in my eyes they should. Maybe I am just a hopeless romantic, but I think a guy should buy dinner, pull her chair out, open the door for her, give her his jacket when she's cold..

Perhaps because it's about heart thing. Once it matched, look can be the last priority.

seriously..cos they got money..this is a fact, just take a look around..even do they men are old still snag a young girl young enough to be their grandchild cos they got a lot money...more not so good looking guys with good looking girls than good looking guys with not so good looking girls..since girls just like someone to be with them, they don't care at all about looks, just the personality..or worst  whoever show them a bit of attenntion, whoever that guy is they just said yes right away..not all do,some girls are like that...just to have someone who can they call bf,they go for whoever..

and lets correct the wrong myth about not so good looking guys that they are more well mannered than good looking guys
some are well  mannered but most not so looking guys are full of themselves
they are bad manners too..they think they are that good looking since they have a trophy gf
at first they are well mannered to impress a girl, but when they got the girl
    real color shows
    i knew some of that
    so there
    whatever just be careful
cos not all "GLITTERINGS ARE GOLD"
just be "TRUE" to anyone and let them love you as you are

usually its a combination of a personality and a sense of humor. women are shallow like that.

mainly it is their personality. or how much money they make. or maybe their level of confidence.
