If you could change one thing about the Christian church- what would it be?

This is an open question for anyone even if you don't go to church.

That is a VERY tough question.  I have a thousand answers, but yet nothing of any substance.  There are so many problems with the church, but at the same time it's entirely possible the problem(s) are with the attendees, not the institution itself.  For fear of giving a flippant answer (i.e. "Down with the Bulletin!"), I will say this...

If I could change one thing about the Christian church, it would be the inability of the institution to recognize individuals.  So often, the big picture is focused on, rather than the care and concern and ministering to the individual.  Each person needs a relationship with Christ, and that can only happen with individual attention to each person.

Each person has a separate set of experiences, a unique temperament, and different vulnerabilities. Until we can respect and appreciate and minister to those differences, sheep will continue to be lost.

this is a great question. i believe the churches have lost touch with what they are truelly there to do and that is to bring people closer to God and to know who he is. the churches should not just preach about salvation alone but of who God is and what his plans for mankind are. theres a lot of churches that are out there telling people what they want to hear to keep them there in church because they are afraid that the truth would cause chaos and confusion due to growing up with a certain religious background. theres too many denominations and not enough churches coming together for the one cause of KNOWING WHO GOD IS and the TRUTH that God has given us to bring us closer to what he wanted us to be in the first place. i guess to answer your question in one sentence is that what i'd like to see in churches is UNITY. no matter the denomination we now more than ever need to stick together and fight the persecution that Christains are about to face in these hard times.

I would like to see more Christians step outside of the church and fulfill the Great Commission. To reach out to the lost, broken, and hurting people in a loving, non judgmental way.

Being a Christian means to be Christ like. To show unconditional love to others. We are all human and fall short, but Christs love overcomes all things.

I would encourage everyone to step outside their safety zones. Choose someone to show love & kindness to...MAKE A DIFFERENCE this Christmas season. If each Christian decided to do this...imagine the change that would happen in the world!

Short Answer: SHOW THE UNCONDITIONAL LOVE OF JESUS CHRIST TO OTHERS!
