    Networking is important on the Hub and you should do your share of it.  Look at it from this perspective.  There are two reasons that people come here.  They are writers and they want to share their work and/or they are readers and want to experience the work of others.  Reading other's work and giving them feedback also gives you exposure.  At the same time and in my opinion, I think you have to create some interesting work as a writer to truly have growing success.  From that standpoint, you need to be creative, imaginative, unique, and write with a style that is truly you.  If you are geniune, grab the reader's attention and hold it, you will gain popularity on this site.

    Write interesting unique articles. Visit other people articles and leave intelligent interesting comments. Try to pick new subject matter that has few existing articles to write on.
