How do you use high-traffic keyword phrases in hub titles and body text? (SEO newbie question)
For example, using Google's keyword tool, I find that the words "age real" has extremely high traffic and relatively low competition, but the term "is age real" has significantly less traffic.
How do I use this information? If I want to write a hub about the meaning of age, how should I use those keywords? The title "Age Real" isn't grammatically sound and just doesn't look good. But is that the title I should use if I want the most traffic?
I've read related hubs but I haven't seen one which explains the keyword research process to this level of detail. Thanks a lot for your help.
I think this one might be one of those red herring kind of phrases. It might well be part of a larger phrase.
Most people use search assist now, so they type in one or two words and see what they're looking for from the drop down menu, then click that. This skews the info in the keyword tool. I think this one "age real" might be part of the longer string "age real estate", which seems to relate to a newspaper, called The Age, in Melbourne, Australia.
I might be wrong, but I'd suggest doing some more research before plumping for it.
Where "age real" is the keyword which is getting high traffic and with low competition? This was what you wrote. When you want to target that key phrase, you must target the keyword in the Title, Text(content) and in your post url.
A simple technique is just write a title like this, What is Age Real ? or What is Real Age of yours? these are the two types you can post your key phrase to the world.
As "Age Real" has 49000 of traffic per month and $ 0.89 of rate. I can give you keyword realted to "age real" so, that you can write about.
real age calculator
real age quiz
your real age
my real age
real age makeover
real age diet
real age recipes
calculate your real age
your real age test
find your real age
real age survey
real age workout
cooking the real age way
You can use these related key phrases to get some more traffic. Thank you!
Just regarding your comment about low competition, I think you may be misinterpreting that. The competition is not for the keyword(s), but for the advertisers. So, really you want to skew your choice towards higher competition as the CPC will probably be higher.

Hi all. I just started this thread because I need some advice on choosing keywords. Sometimes when selecting keywords, I choose the keywords with about 200 global searches a month but not much competition. This is good and I rank very well for those keywords but I feel that I don't get enough...

How do you make good Hub titles?I think I'm a little slow because I just don't entirely understand how Google Keywords works. I mean the program itself. My titles suck. How do you decide on your titles? I love to write, but must admit I'm motivated by earning on here...

Can anyone help me figure out how to best optimize my hubs? I have several that have scores of 90 and above but they hardly get any views...I'm not sure how I could improve that. Even ones that have been changed by Hubpages' editors still don't get much traffic. Is it just the titles that I should...

But I am wondering why there seems to be competition in the real google world and no competition showing for it in the external keyword tool world?
