   Things to avoid saying in England?
   
   I leave to England tomorrow, is there anything I should avoid saying that can come across as offensive there? For example, I told my British friend I was walking around outside in just pants and a shirt. For her, that sounded wrong.

   Nearly anything you say there can and will be taken wrong. My sister in-law lived there a year on her job and really could not believe the rudeness of the English people.

   dude its the same thing as if it were here. we both speak the same language so whatever you wouldnt say here dont say there. But if u wanna make them mad ask them who won the revolutionary war

   Here in England we speak exactly the same just different a accent like you do anywhere even in the same country, and just like anywhere you will get nice people and rude people so it's not everyone who is rude.

   Dont go on about how much bigger and better everything is in America like I heard someone from Texas do in London.( or complain about the weather-food etc or talk really loud everywhere)
   Visit to enjoy a place that is diferent and have a great time !

   I wish I´d caught this one in time.  Hopefully TylerCapp doesn't go around shouting about his fanny pack as that will raise a chuckle for sure.  Delicately I´ll explain now that the word fanny is used for female parts, and best avoided in Britain!  And I really wouldn't agree that English people are rude.

   Or anything else that basically says that the UK is 'doing it wrong.'
