What is the most brain-washing commercial you've ever seen?
For me...it is Mcdonalds most recent Happy Meal commercials. They are sickening
One of tose prescription drug commercials where the lady talks to you with big sad blue eyes...and gives you about 100 reasons why you shouldn't take the medicine she is endorsing!
The commercial with the Chinese. It's VERY scary when you stop and think about it. Especially when they are all laughing at us in the end. Chilling...
I agree with you, Ben. That commercial makes me want to hurl. I loathe commercials; especially when they boost up the sound level so that you can still hear it when you leave the room for a few minutes.
The most creative commercial I’ve seen more recently is the American Express spot where they used different objects to simulate smiles. The only drawback was that I was so caught up with the creativity, I didn’t think who the commercial was for.
This is more of a subliminal messaging thing than brainwashing, but I saw a commercial for some kind of food product quite a while back (a decade, possibly longer.) I don't remember what it was specifically because it's been so long, but they were making claims about how much better the product is than the competitors, and a guy comes out with a tray with the product on it, but there's also a round dish off to the side that says "BELIEVE" on it. I always found that commercial interesting and a little disturbing.
the word "believe" is a tool for manipulation
the "belief project" of sprint or att&t, is brainwashing and subliminal messaging
I once saw a commercial for a iPhone, and 5 minutes later I was at the Apple Store looking for one
If you recognize the manipulation then it is NON-EFFECTIVE. The most brain washing is... manipulation of your beliefs that you don't perceive ....and you believe you have made up your own mind. The US army branch of PSYOPS (psychological operations) deals with brain washing. One of their commanders named Michael Aquino (a Satanist) wrote an article titled, "MIND-WAR" in which he said, "For the mind to believe it's own decisions, it must believe it made those decisions without coercion." This is a frightening thought. The commercials that SICKEN you are not the bad ones. It's the other ones that CHANGE YOUR BELIEFS without you knowing they are the really bad ones!!!
Viagra! The warning about a four hour erection that sent 40 million guys scramling to the prescription counter with some ridiculous notion that sex had been "new and improved".
Without a doubt, it is the "MagicJack" commercial which attempts to lead one to believe that they can do away with their telephone service and replace it all for the cost of the device and a payment of $19.95 a year. If you buy that, then we ought to "beat you like a dawg, sucka". LOL! WB
I find it funny that so many young people tell me that they hate McDonalds but I still see them eating Big Macs. LOL!

What is the most absurd lie you've ever seen on television?I think I first realized how pathetic and absurd mass media via the filth that own it was when I first realized how stupid was the music I saw glamorized on the idiot box....never once was anything of artistic merit promoted or was talent...
