   I would be a master of doctoral sciences. Other careers depend on the economy, doctors are always needed and the research for treatments is a constant need that everyone will benefit from.

   This question hits the nail on the head for me as I would like to think I have 'mastered' the art of mediation - though not yet, as I want to apply for a masters course in mediation next year. (Can't afford it this year). Maybe after the course I may be somewhere down the road to being a master of that profession.
   Why would I like that? Practising mediation is a process i love doing as it gives me the opportunity to sit with people and help them reach an understanding that both find mutually satsifying. Helping them create the options to consider what will best serve their interests and needs is part of the challenge I enjoy.
   Though somettimes I can feel overwhelmed and lost in the process, I have the techniques and skills to keep me on track. If and when I work with another mediator the 'mastery' of the other person can help me stay on track.
   Maybe I'll have to stretch myself to doctorate to get the feeling of complete mastery, though I doubt that will really happen. Who knows? I want to try anyway.

   I would love to be a master at voice acting - specifically being the singing voice of a character.
   
   Or i'd like to be a great music therapist, song arranger.... so sooooo many things. I really believe in the power of music to move people, and cheer people up too.

   If I could master a profession - now that I can dream - I would say that I would like to master movie making. I know nothing about it, just that I have done some writing and also dabbled in photography and with this understanding have figured out that movies, being a audio-visual medium, render a powerful impact and convey the story in the best manner possible. I have marveled at the work of great filmmakers and always thought that if I could master this perfect medium it would just be too fantastic for words. Not for the glamor or glory, but for the sheer pleasure of handling a powerful medium with infinite possibilities.

    I would choose to be a master of motivator - no matter the one on career, financial, family planning, selling arts, and so forth. Because this profession will enable me to share my experience and success to others. Furthermore, this one is also can be done until the end of my life; as long as I still can stand in front of public to speak. And one more, it can make a lot of money compare to other profession in general.

    I am a master of education but I think I would prefer to be a master of arts and dance, in particular.  I would love the time and space just to research dance and nothing else.  Life is a little too complicated to allow that luxury at the moment but your question has let me dream a little so thank you.

    I like all of your answers, but was surprised that no one picked anything in the sports fields. I think being a professional golfer would have to be my choice. Most pay for least amount of effort.
