I would really start taking cisco courses from the days of university rather than spending all the time studying for university for nothing. at the end I get to work in different field.
I would change nothing about my past. Everything I have done and everything unfortunately has happened to me all happened for a reason. I would not be who I am today if not for all those worthwhile experiences. The past molds us into who we become in the future by way of learning. If we change or want to change something in our past, we learn nothing at all. There is no real purpose in life in general if we do not learn.
I would have paid more attention to the Louisiana French spoken all around me growing up and made an effort to learn it. Now I'm playing catch-up trying to learn it, but far too late to speak it with those family members and friends that have passed away.
I wish I could say that I would change nothing, but unfortunately there are a few things. The first thing that comes to mind concerns my education. Better choices could have been made by me and would have made a big difference in my life.
Eric, I can not agree with your entire answer. I appreciate the things you have said; however, everything that happens to a person does not necessairly mean it should have happened. What about cruel things that happen to children through no fault of their own? Those things do not happen for a "reason." Children should grow up feeling loved and cherished. What about poor children in all countries who go to bed at night without food? It's not their fault that they did not get fed. There are so many instances I can think of that makes me know that it is circumstances. And if one had an opportunity to "flip a switch" it would make a change in their lives.
I don't think there is a person alive that doesn't wonder how things would be if they made a different choice somewhere along the way. Personally I can think of quite a few such decisions, that could have drastically altered my life. Given the opportunity, I think the temptation would get the better of most of us. That being said, I couldn't ask for a better wife, or two more beautiful daughters than what I have. Other aspects of my life could be better, but I wouldn't trade my wife and kids for anything. So, while I could think of some things that I might do differently given the chance, I'm glad I don't have the ability to do it.

Can't bad things just happen? Or, do bad things happen for a reason? Some people act like it is one's own fault that one gets cancer (e.g., not eating right) or getting robbed (one acted like a victim) or even for suffering a natural disaster (for putting out a negative vibe). What do you think and...
