    Life Choice

Is it ok to live your life the way you want without worrying about whether or not you are disappointing your family or friends?

You are only visiting the planet and life is always what you make of it. To many lives are ruined or the person is constantly worried about if they have let somebody else down.

It is your life, they will be your mistakes on the way, its natural.
    Just enjoy it.

no i don't think so...maybe it is at a certain age.  but once you have children and/or spouse you have to think about how your actions affect others.  it affects them more than you realize.

Yes it is Ok. maybe not the best idea, but definately OK to do. (speaking of your family in terms of parents and such)...

if "family" means your spouse and kids.. then NO.. you should always think about the consequences your action or inaction will cause.

With that said, at the end of the day it's your decision and the real question is why would your family be disappointed ? Shouldn't they support you just as much as you want to consider them?

Well as long as your actions do not hurt them intentionly, because if we live our lives trying to please others then we are really not living at all.

We have to do what is right for ourselves and if we truly love ourselves then our motives will always be pure...and those that are offended will always misunderstand us because they dont truly understand unconditional love!!!

    Great question,Thanks for asking!!!

As long as you are not hurting yourself or others, I don't see the problem.  If you have children, you should always think about how they are going to react to whatever you're doing.  And if anyone else (spouse or other family member) has a problem with something you are doing, then it is really up to you and the other person to talk it out.  You don't want to ruin any relationships.

I believe that its most important to live your own life though it can clash with friends and family.

yes it is. it's your life and it's up to you how you live it. just remember that family and friends are more important the material things and money.

No. since you are living in a society there are limits to what you can do so that it does not affect your family first, then friends and lastly the society.
