What people do? The face is part of the attraction to someone we like but not everything. A beautiful loving heart is rare like a jewel. But lots of people these days seem to care less about matters of the heart and just the superficiality of appearance. So it applies to some people but not all...

you can't see the heart wink People can easily pretend to have a loving heart. The first instinct of people is to look at faces. Our eyes are usually the ones who get attracted first.

Humans rely very much with their visual perception, they tend to appreciate things that they see versus things that weren't that visible.

Imagine going into the store to purchase a can of beans.
There are only 2 left on the shelf. One can has the label half peeled off and there is a small dent on the side.
The other can looks brand new.
Now odds are both cans came from the same lot# and the contents in each are equally satisfying.
    Which can would you buy?

The majority of us would purchase the can with the best "appearance". Not that we should compare people with can goods but I do believe it is human nature to want to surround yourself with things and people you are visually attracted to.. Seeing a "beautiful heart" requires an investment of time to get to know someone.

I believe that attraction plays a huge role in who we choose.

With that said It is sad that people often only see the exterior and overlook those with a kind loving heart.

In the end those who are only attractive on the outside don't last and those relationships often end in pain since the love was never there to begin with.

    It's just a shallow existence.

Those with the biggest hearts don't always have as many opportunities, but stand a better chance of finding true love because they appreciate a good person when he or she shows.

I only hope the person they are with values their inner beauty and doesn't just look at what's on the surface.

A beautiful face may be what first attracts you to someone, but it is their beautiful, loving heart that keeps you with them.

    You must realize this:

Many are those (Men & Women) that because of a beautiful face their lives are completely a misery today & why?

! You Cannot Ever Judge The Book By Its Cover !

It is never too late to discover a beautiful loving heart after a few deceptions in life & it is fair also to say that there are many beautiful faces that has indeed beautiful loving hearts.

We live in a Society that tends to create ratings; averages, etc & etc but a Human Presence has the ability to change their attitudes till they die & today even faces can turn out to be more beautiful than they were at birth (plastic surgery).

What counts is your personal satisfaction & being satisfied you can live a life more in Peace with you & with all of those that surrounds you.

Balance is not so hard to achieve if your horizon lines aren't too wide.

    Best Wishes

I think in the long run a loving heart wins. Beauty is only skin deep in a lot of people and once you (potentially) discover that beautiful face is ugly on the inside you'll realize what's important to you. Some people choose superficial people, some people choose good hearts. I think the people that choose the good hearts are the happiest. Looks go away eventually, hearts are made of gold and retain their value forever.
