   Durian is the strangest fruit I ate once when I was in Singapore. It is very smelly and taste is funny too.

   Haggis (sp?).  I've eaten tripe, brain and all different animal parts, but hagas?  Wow, I didn't even know what a sheep's puck was.

   Well pig's cheek in England and tripe in Brazil. However my husband has eaten dog, snake, and fruit bat in Indonesia.

   I lived in China for a couple of years so there are quite a few things.
   I suppose insects, blood cubes, goose & duck tongues, duck heads and rabbit heads, pink noodles (goose and duck esophagus) rooster penis & testicles all stand out. Chicken, goose and duck feet are up there, mosquito eggs.
   They eat every imaginable part of every animal so I've eaten everything from ear to tail. I've had cabeza, like in the photo, in both the Mexican and Chinese fashion.
   I've also eaten alligator, rattlesnake, escargot and Texas BBQ goat.
   To the best of my knowledge I have never eaten anything with a proper first name, I wouldn't wager on that one.
   I'm not a very finicky eater.
   
   Ruchi; I didn't care for Durian either the taste was OK but not good enough to put up with the smell.

   I used to live in Florida and Louisiana. So I would have to say frog legs, shark-fin soup, alligator and snake skin.

   A Birds nest (Birds make it from their vomit).  In Malaysia.  It was wrapped in a pretty box like you'd expect a box of Chocolates to be in! That's what tempted me, haha!

   It would have to be pig's feet. I never liked the sound of it and one day I was at a friends house having dinner and everyone else was eating it and I was told to try it and did so because I didn't want to be rude. It tasted like chicken skin with no meat.

    Well, my home country's cuisine contains a lot of "delicacies" most Americans would find freaky: tripe (kare-kare), pigs blood and guts (dinuguan), baby chicks right before they're hatched (balut), goat, tongue, heart, brain, and lots of heads, feet, tails, and eyeballs of various species.
    
    I've also had snails, frog legs, alligator, which tastes like chewy chicken, and ostrich, which tastes like beef.

    I'm not too sure if it sounds strange, but I ate Milk Ramen in Japan. I guess it's strange even in Japanese standards because one does not usually eat milk with noodles. It was delicious and it looked a lot nicer than that creepy sheep head. I want to link the picture up here, but I don't know how to use HUB well.     And I had Natto Pizza too. Is that strange? I don't' know...to me it sounds normal but I feel like people would think that putting fermented beans on cheese pizza is weird.

    I live in the Philippines and other people might probably find it strange to eat balut (aborted duck embryo). Here in our country, it's a staple street food. Best eaten with vinegar or rock salt.

    Probably bondegi. They eat these in South Korea. It smells a little like roasted nuts, but it's really silkworm larvae. I only tried it once to be polite...but I wasn't a fan. There are many other Korean foods that taste much better!!

    I once tried squid, while on vacation and probably won't try it again. It was not bad but certain things you only need to try once.
