   Do you use rubber gloves when doing the dishes?
   
   Curious to know whether people use dish gloves when washing in the soapy sink water? If yes or no, please tell why you do or don't?

   No, I don't and most times I forget if I'm gardening, even though it might be a good idea to wear gloves but I like to feel my hands in dirt and in the water.

   No I dont like wearing them ,I only did it when I had to at work when really hot water is needed, they feel horrible on.

   No, I never do. I only wear rubber gloves to clean my oven. I hate the way the gloves make my hands smell. I just apply hand lotion after washing dishes to keep my skin from getting dry.

   No, I never did with my family and still don't to this day. The way I was brought up was to conserve as much as possible. So honestly, using rubber gloves never really even crossed my mind. It just seems pointless. If the water is scalding hot, I just adjust the temperature.

   Actually, yes I do!
   My hands and especially my cuticles get really dry, so I wear gloves when I do dishes and clean.
   I also go get a manicure to keep my hands looking nice, so that sort of forces me to remember to wear gloves.
   You do get used to them.

    Yes, I do and so did my mother. It protects my hands from the hot water. I don't like that they are disposable. I am looking for really durable ones.

    Yes I do, mainly because our family has quite sensitive skin. I also prefer it in general to not using gloves. The only problem I have however is that normal size gloves are to small for my hands.

    Sometimes... I ought to wear them more often as I have a bit of an allergy to chemicals and stuff, but I can't be bothered, or I forget, or they have a hole in or something...

    I don't do the dishes but if I did do them I guess I would probably not use rubber gloves.

    I do when I can remember. We don't have hot water here so it isn't to protect my hands from that as much as the soap. I also use them when I do cleaning with chemicals like bleach and when they get holes, I use them for pulling fish out of the net on our tilapia farm.

    Never, I hate the cumbersome and discomfort even when my hands get really dry sometimes, I prefer applying hand lotion after doing the dishes rather than using the rubber gloves...

    Nope.  I want to maintain my alligator-skin hands.  My hands have always been dry, maybe I should.
