   What's the difference between Capitalism & Communism?
   
   With Capitalism it's best described as Man against Man...With Communism it's the other way around... Happy New Year Hubbers!

   A comparative analysis of the two systems requires much more than an examination of how free enterprise functions as opposed to a state controlled system which stifles productivity. The real difference exist in the essence of the two systems; communism stifles the human spirit and without it we lose our desire to be all that we can be; Capitalism unleashes the human spirit to soar to new heights. Everywhere throughout the history of man where Communism has been tried it resulted in the enslavement and suffering of those subjects upon which the system was imposed!

   The classic answer is that in capitalism a society's means of production is owned privately. In communism the societies means of production is owned by the state.
   
   While there are working socialist societies, I have yet to see a True communist one. In theory, communism in practice is in opposition to the basics of human nature.
