   for twenty four years i have been friends with my best friend. she has been there with me through the good and the not so good. we can read each other's minds. we like to do many of the same things and what one of us cannot do, the other can.
   i am so blessed to have her in my life.

   Up to the age of 12, my best friends were my parents. then when I went to High School, at 12, I had three. The one best friend I have that we have not lost touch, she has been my friend for 33 years.

   I have moved many times in my life, and only a few friendships have survived. One is with a woman I've known for 25 years, who has moved nearly as often. We have again lost touch with each other. Last time this happened, we eventually found one another and it was as if no time at all had passed, but I haven't been able to locate her recently. My other best friend is a woman I've known about 7 years. Our friendship has survived children, divorces, and subsequent good and bad relationships.

   Kyra and I have been absolute best friends for as long as we both can remember. My earliest memory of her is her in diapers. We are a year apart and cousins, so we grew up together. I only have a handful of friends that really matter to me, but I think a lot of people would trade all of their friends for one friendship that is as close as ours is.

   More than 35 years.  I've found there is a difference between a friend and an acquaintance.  This lady has been a real friend.  She has been there through good times and bad.  We have passed from early middle age to old age together, and I am ever grateful for having her at my side.

   I have been friends with my best friend for 30 years. She has been there for me in good times and bad. The best thing is I can tell her anything without being judged and never have to worry if she is telling anyone my business. She is actually more like a sister to me, she's the best!!!!!!!

   For amlost 30 years. We met already as babies and became best friends when we were about 3 years old. Our children are in the same ages and love playing with each other too. She is my best friend even if we sometimes don't see each other for months.

   I've known her just for three years but best friends since 2 years.The qualities she possesses are ; She understands me, cares for me ,loves me, selfless, never leaves me alone ,always makes me smile, helps with my problems ,supports my decisions,makes me stronger when I'm down, makes me feel special ans she's like my other half.I don't feel like I could ever do anything without her and she feels the same.

    Two years. Friendships don't last long with me. I don't really care too much. But it is nice to have them around. Though this is the longest any friend has lasted so far.

    I met a real awesome girl in my freshman year of high school. I recently lost all of my others for one reason or another and I was getting lonly and depressed. One day I met a girl in gym and we ended up being partners for that day, and it made us become close because we always chose to be together. We talk randomly, sometimes several times a day, sometimes once a week or even less. We see each other about once a year (I stay at her house for a day or more) however it is like no time has passed. I miss and love her. It was been about six years.
