Has HubPages made a postive or a negative impact in your life?

What is the impact that this Site has made on you? Since you Joined us in here, how can you explain this phenomenon...the fact that you are writing for the world and for yourself, of course.

A positive impact. I have always loved to write, and have always told stories to the people around me at different times in my life. The enjoyment they would get and the feedback from them was very valuable to me, whether it was around a bon fire, on a boat yard, or a front porch. I have always enjoyed debating points about politics, religion, social issues, or anything else that would come up. Now, I'm older and a lot slower than I was, but Hub Pages allows me to do this in my living room in a manner that gets even more interaction, and I have been so flattered by those who follow me that I am encouraged to complete othr writing projects and pursue an even wider audience.

VERY positive.  Oh I've had bad days, but life isn't a bad day, but the whole.

I was an obsessive weirdo blogger on that forgotten wasteland called "Myspace" - you know, the website that destroyed itself?

Anyway, this person here first told me that I could be making money online doing what I was already doing, and I don't recall if he mentioned Hubpages to me, or not, but he probably did.  I wasn't ready for all of that then:

Then there's THIS guy who told me about Hubpages - and what he told me was that the community was extremely helpful towards everyone, and he sort of used common sense and logic to basically lure me here:

    http://springboard.hubpages.com/

After getting here a whole host of folks were encouraging to me and have become my friends.  Staff at Hubpages is sort of lucky I didn't wander into their office trying to hug everyone a year and some back when I was in San Francisco.

HUBPAGES has the most positive effect of my writing.  It is given me a voice to express myself and what I feel.  It allows me also to stregthen my writing techniques and skills.

I enjoy coming here, posting a few hubs and doing some reading, but I can't really say it has impacted my life.

100% positive and no negatives at all. I came onto Hub Pages to get back into writing as I hadn't done any for a number of years. The ability to write what you really enjoy as well as the wonderful supportive community has made my come back into writing a sheer joy. Most of all though, it's the friends and fellow writer's  who have really made my experience so positive.

I have had a few minor negatives but they have been more than worth it. Even though I was a published author before I came to hub pages I have learned from some of the great writers here. I am comfortable now with my writing and have published over 150 articles between three websites. The majority of my writing outside hub pages is business related.

What  I enjoy most about hub pages now is the sense of belonging to a community. A very supportive community who believe in sharing what they know and also what I know.

I actually found hub pages because of a search I was doing for a website I was building. Someone had a hub on page 53 of Google in that niche. I was told by my teacher to start searching on page 50. He said many people have great sites but have no idea how to optimize them. I was to learn from their mistakes.
