What do you think is the reason why the name of GOD is omitted in some translations of Bible?
To avoid offending people, also this too will aid in trying to take the name of Jesus away from the people-the only way for them to be saved. There are many web pages and info out there to exactly what has been removed. Whosoever calls on Jesus shall be saved- Jesus said ""Blessed is the man who does not fall away on account of me." (Luke 7:23) The bible tells us many will become offended because of Jesus. This is just another deception inspired by satan-this is why we are to know the word of God-so we will know the truth from a lie -even when they try to take the truth from us.In Luke 8, Jesus Christ tells the parable of the sower, verses 11,12 read, "Now the parable is this: The SEED is the word of God. . . THEN COMETH THE DEVIL, and taketh away the word.." Satan knows - if he can supplant even a small seed of doubt in God's word - MANKIND WILL LOOK ELSEWHERE! 1 Corinthians 14:33, clearly states, "God is NOT the author of CONFUSION." We should always compare other versions of the bible to the King James version to make sure that it goes along with the KJ translation and than we'll see if they totally missed the meaning of it-or if it helps us to understand it more.

NEW BIBLE VERSIONS REMOVE ‘FATHER’ AND ‘SON OF GOD’ BECAUSE IT OFFENDS
http://atlasshrugs2000.typepad.com/atla … slims.html
Well your input is beautiful and true! Good for you--thanks! I'm not sure I understood the question--see my input below, but your comments are absolutely true.
Your welcome. Thanks for your response, Overall I haven't really had much agreement shown when I answer questions, but I go by God's word.
Amen sister - Absolutely True and Correct on ALL COUNTS - Maranatha †
Matthew 18 : 11 "For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost."
Romans 16 : 24 "The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen."
I can't imagine this is the case. Are you sure?
If the word God is not used there has to be another word or words which is equivalent per the language of the people/culture being targeted.
Quotes from the bible:
"Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away."
"For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled."
ESSENTIALLY kenneth THIS :
† Exodus 3 : 14 †
"And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you."
† Exodus 6 : 3 † (King JESUS Version)
"And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them."
Exodus 6 : 3 : (New International perVersion and most all others)
"I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob as God Almighty, but by my name the LORD I did not make myself fully known to them."
The reason is very simple : ALL the perVersions that remove The Old Hebrew Name For The Father of JESUS (transliterated into English) are NOT translations they are MIS-TRANSLATIONS of Holy Scripture.
Example Two :
† Psalm 68 : 4 † (King JESUS Version)
"Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name JAH, and rejoice before him."
Psalm 68 : 4 (New International perVersion and most all others)
"Sing to God, sing in praise of his name, extol him who rides on the clouds; rejoice before him—his name is the Lord."
The Son Of God, JESUS, Calls His Father Abba (Aramaic)
† Mark 14 : 36 †
"And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt."
CONCLUSION : satan IS the unclean spirit of ERROR. Hence all the deliberate and unintentional MISTRANSLATIONS in English.
Stick with the King JESUS Version In English - Amen †
This Worship Song has it all summed up (listen through to the end) :

"There's NO god Like JEHOVAH" - Maranatha †
Sorry, put the wrong Song above (still GOOD though) - MEANT THIS ONE [listen through to the end] :

"There's NO god Like JEHOVAH" - Maranatha † Amen
Actually, we don’t know the name of the God! God is not our friend and he will never give us his name. I am an original Hebrew, descendant of Prophet Zephaniah (Jews have the original bible, that everybody translated from), and I laugh every time that people call him Yahweh or Jehovah. That is not a name or the word. It is an abbreviation of the words in Hebrew language that read: “I am that I am”. When Moses asked his name, which is what God has answered, meaning: it is not your business to know, what my name is!
I wonder, if there is no such name, therefore, you're seems like saying that it is not also your business to know the name of your biological father.
He's MY friend. Hebrew in Exodus 6 : 3 renders JEHOVAH in English. An Altar named by Gideon Judges 6:24 is Jehovahshalom. Truth is, Judaism prohibits SAYING His Holy Name. Name IS THERE in Hebrew. Pronunciation is cultural. † JEHOVAH-YESHUAH-AS-ONE †
Can you tell us the long version of the name? I would like to know. These type of things interest me.
Put simply ALL Power was Given To The Messiah. The Name Of God Today Is Likewise In English: Long Name: "The Lord JESUS Christ Alive In Heaven NOW, and SOON To Come Again" In Tongues: "Emmahshannah" In Ezekiel 48:35 "Jehovah-Shammah" † FUTURE-NOW †
YESHUAH and JEHOVAH are different. They are two..Not as one. JEHOVAH is the Father of YESHUAH. Read Luke 1:28-32
It is supposed to be so sacred that the name was hidden. This is according to the Jews. This is the explaination that was given to me.
I think its because people want to take the credit for what God did and is still doing.
God has many name in many culture. but its still the same one God. As this said The Lord is one
I don't know what you mean. Can you give an example so that we can at least get an idea of what you mean? Every translation of the Bible I have has many of the different names God has used to reveal Himself and even though each translation differs in minor ways, God and His names are faithfully represented. Is there a way that you can clarify what you mean? Or perhaps, what name are you talking about?
Well, thank you for the interest, I have read different translations of Bible. Some translated the name above with LORD, GOD, ALMIGHTY GOD, MOST HIGH, and more. What I mean is, in original Bible, the name indicated is the one on the picture above.
How about THE NEW TESTAMENT? The Culmination Of The Work Of The REAL Messiah, The Lord JESUS Christ:
† Acts 4 : 12 †
"Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."
Even with different languages and translations, the true name of God is something that cannot be expressed, written or uttered because of its cosmic omnipresent power. Jehovah, IHVH, God...all these are just facsimiles. They are not the true name of God. The none presented in the picture, being the Aramaic Hebrew, if I am not mistaken, is only the closest the Jews could come to an expression of the divine name of the Almighty. It is much like quantum physics, you can understand the idea of an atom and its atomic structure, yet not have words that accurately describe it. That is why the name of God is omitted in some translations of the Bible, because it is not the true name nor could it be in written words.
The idea is that God's name can not be uttered by human lips, so they say Yahweh, since biblical Hebrew does not have founds it is transliterated as YHWH. The idea is that you can not pronounce YHWH. A book I would recommend you read that really helped me was, Temba Mafico's Yahweh's Emergence As "judge" Among the Gods: A Study of the Hebrew Root Spt. He is an Old Testament Hebrew Bible Professor and Scholar. It is not a way of not offending anyone, because a redactor or editor has their own agenda as well just as redactors or editors, copist, and collectors, had agendas. That's why is it is important to do exegetical work, one part of the historical-critical exegetical approach is translation criticism, where you do a comparison on different text such as the LXX, TaNak, KJV, NRSV, etc. I actually blogged on this subject, because I ran across so many people on here that were spouting off scripture without taking a closer look. Many use it to prepare sermons, sermonettes, and bible studies. Hope this helps.

"In the 1611 KJ New Testament the name Yahshua (Yehoshua) appeared originally wherever the Messiah was spoken of. Yehoshua means Yehovah is Salvation. Later the Messiah's name was replaced with Iesus (Greek) which later in the 1600's itbecame Jesus starting with the new English...

How Does A Christian Know If They Are Saved Or Not?

Is Jesus the Son Of God or is Jesus, God Himself?Or some other version or answer?

Without delving into a lot of deep studying on the origins of words, I'll make a suggestion. Could it be that Jesus was redefining what God is when He called Himself the Son of Man?THink about it: He often referred to God as His Father, right? And then He refers to Himself as the Son of Man....

This is simply for Christians to share and discuss the prophecies they may know well, and/or better than some of the rest of us. It is for edifying and educating each of us further in understanding our God's Word. Though I posted it for prophecies, I think it would do us well to share scriptures in...
