Nice of you to use the word "disease" rather than something like "biology".

Being gay is neither, some people are gay, some are not...no one chooses.

Disease or choice?  Those are the only two options? It is neither.

It is the same thing as being not gay, unlike being a bigot, which is entirely by choice.

Homosexuality is in no way a disease. I think it's just the way a person is. Some people just happen to be more attracted to the same gender instead of the opposite one. I don't think it's as clear cut as just "straight" or "gay." There are many shades of gray in between.

I'm incline to agree with duffsmom. Being a "straight person" I don't recall the day I "chose" to become straight. I was (naturally) attracted to women. My guess is that gay and lesbian people are also following (their natural) attractions as well. I'm not sure how the word "disease" comes into play with regard to who someone loves or wants to be with.

It's neither. Some people are gay just like some have blue eyes or are tall. Just another variation.

You wrote your question that way on purpose -to attack gays. No gays have brought crime to your neighborhood.  Nor have they threatened your safety.  Nor have they brought down your property values.  Christ didn't die and was then resurrected for you to attack gays.  That's not the purpose of Christianity.  You are not saved.

Jesus Christ...a disease?  How would one get such an ailment?  Is it contagious?  Or does it form slowly like a tumor?  Or is it a...hereditary disease?

Ok, having said all that crap, I will mention that I never REMEMBER making a choice about the matter.  Even if I did, who cares.  What did two men loving each other ever really do to you?

Seriously? I see a cross on your avatar. Go read your Bible. There, hopefully, you will see that Jesus (God) said NOTHING about homosexuality, but boy, did He have a lot to say about sins of the heart. He came to give us a new covenant, freeing us from the old covenant and Mosaic Law. His message is LOVE, what don't you get about that?
