How many loyal followers do you have who read almost every hub that you write?

We are talking about the core group who always seem to be there for each and every hub that you write.

3 or 4 but mostly you!!  I presume you mean read and leave comments; that's why I think it's important to leave comments so that people know they are appreciated and really followed.  However, it's difficult to read all hubs of those you follow, especially as there are more and more to keep check on as time goes by, so I don't expect anyone to read them all.  I'm hoping to catch up on my reading when I go back to France next week and will have less to do for a couple of months - vive les vacances!

Ann, I agree with you, without comments it is very hard to tell if you are being followed or by who. Comments are the only way to keep track of loyal followers.

Hi guys..This is incorrect.  There IS a way to see WHO reads your hubs, and when..as in a running tab.  You'll have to get the directions from our Lady, Sunshine and I'm sure she's gonna love me for sending you to her!!  She told me, but I forgot.'

bill....taking a poll, are you?  I don't know the NUMBER....and haven't time to do the research or count HUb-heads.......but I can assure you that it isn't anywhere near the actual # of followers I have........maybe I'll do a hub on this.....then again, maybe not....yeah, I think I will.   How's life in Olympia??   Been dreadfully HOT here. Hate it!   Smile, dude.....ttyl!

Paula, I am well my friend and I can tell you that we may be the only part of the country not involved in this heatwave. It is currently sixty degrees and drizzling.  Yes, do a hub on this; I'd be interested in your take on it.

There's no way to be able to tell which followers are actually reading your Hubs.  My guess is that no matter how many followers someone has, there would never be more than a few who are that devoted.

Comments are the only way to really tell who is following consistently.  If I base it on comments I can say there are probably twenty Hubbers who read and comment on everything I write.

Great question, Bill. I try to follow and comment on as many hubber posts as possible, but with my working full-time this summer I am probably missing a lot of great reads.  Can't tell who is really reading the hubs, but grateful comments.

Hi Billybuc, I agree that comments are the only way to really know and whenever I read a hub, I leave comments and always vote.  I wish I had more time but will have less as I pack up to move to Canada.  I have wondered about this question myself...

Not as many as I used to because I have not been a very good 'follower' myself....it's been a long time since I've had enough personal time to do justice to other writers' efforts; so many of whom are fabulously talented, thoughtful, thought provoking, interesting and compelling authors.  So, I have a few very loyal followers for whom I am eternally thankful....and I will try harder to honor others' creative work.

I would have to say probably anywhere from 7-15, depending on the day.  But this is definitely a great question!  I have been very curious about how many loyal followers people have been getting.  And of course, Bill, you are one of my loyal folllowers, so thank you very much!

Did you read my last question?  Check it out.  Anyway, I'd have to say somewhere in the neighborhood of ten or fifteen, but don't hold me to that it could be more.  I know you and Paula are always a given (as I am for you guys).  It's really tough trying to keep up every day and I understand that.  Now I'll have to watch for Paula's hub on the subject!
How come you espcaped the heatwave?

I have found that through the years all those people that are signed up as followers don't necessary continue on Hubpages, so the numbers can be deceiving. Also, there are so many new people that come to Hubpages and immediately become a fan, but you never one time see their name in a comment. I'm not sure how many are loyal, but there are several fans that I know will most often make a comment. Also, when you write about a lot of different topics, not all your hubs attract all your followers. For instance, I write a lot of medical hubs as I was an RN for 22 years with experience in many areas of health care. If you have or know someone that has a particular disease you are more likely to read the specialty hubs, or at least that is what I think.  Sorry, guess I didn't really answer your question if you were looking for a number.

Actually Pamela I think that's a great answer, though it's just "one man's/woman's opinion".

I'm not sure I was looking for any particular answer; it was just something I was curious about.  Great answer Pam and thank you!

Hi Bill, i have been blown away by some of my followers comments and support, your great self included. I have been noticing probably around a core group of 10 - 15 followers who always seem to read my hubs as i publish, which i am so appreciative for. In return i do try to read my own hubbers work regularly and leave comments. I usually will follow other's whose profile and subject choices interest me, as i have quite varied interests.

Well, I've not been publishing much as of late; thence my lack of comment influx. But if I were to parrot the name I see most often in my comments, it would probably be Adrian Lavelle, a most charming fellow who seems to really catch the points in my hubs and poetry--I feel as though I've caught a creatively kindred spirit, but online. Haha. Your name is also quite a familiar sight among my comments. There are quite a few other hubbers who have been incredibly kind and supportive as well, but these were the first to pop into my head as most loyal, measured by comments.

Since I am still new I am not sure at this point. I do make a point to read hubs of those who are followers but my problem is finding the time to do so since I do the 9-5 thing.  At times I will read their hubs and vote up but not make comments because lack of time.

Not every but you've been there for some!

It's been only two weeks for me since I've actually started here and as I write more diverse hubs, I'm sure somewhere along the line I'm going to have a few 'loyal' followers too.

And right now, the number of your hubs is too much for me to read anytime soon, but you can count me in as I really love your work and I'm looking forward to read many of your hubs that are already there, esp the ones upon alcoholism (I need them).

This is a great question Billy.smile  I have 3 or 4 followers who leave comments on my hubs, but I am not really sure how many of my followers read my hubs.  I try to read a few hubs of those hubbers I find interesting, but time only permits me to leave comments on each one. I also may vote up a hub, click on the useful button, and share a hub without commenting at all.

I have many, Bill.  I only have 94 followers as of my answering this question, but I'd say 90% of them are true!
