   What is a good remedy for nails that rip easily?
   
   My nails are kinda flimsy and polish won't hold. I can't afford faux nails so I'm looking for some home remedies or easy fixes.

   You need to get a skin and nail lotion that contains keratin. It will definitely improve your nails condition

   The two vitamins necessary for healthy skin and nails are calcium, and biotin. Biotin is a vitamin in the B complex family, and is one of the main vitamins in eggs, as well as protein. I have written an article on this subject http://artist101.hubpages.com/the-benef … ust-stress
   You could try using a nail bath. Take one egg and beat it, mix with enough milk, and soak nails in the solution, for 20-30 minutes. Might be worth a try.

   When I was a teenager I bit my nails to the nail bed often it hurt and bled.  Even if I manage not to bite them they were weak and brittle.
   
   My mother gave me an incentive to stop biting my nails.  She said she would buy me the ring I want so I was on a mission.
   
   I found some fiberglass strips in a beauty supply store.  I applied them and my nails grew healthy and strong it took about 2 or 3 weeks.
   
   I am in my 40's now and I still have long health nails and I haven't used the nail strips for years.
   
   Do everything this article says to do and I promise you will grow long beautiful nails.

   mash a few garlic cloves mix with olive oil and soak your nails daily in it for a while  this will strengthen your nails greatly

   i've heard olive oil does a lot of good to your nails.
   
   your nails reflect your diet as well ... maybe you need to improve your diet which will bring out better nails.
