Which do you prefer, Summer or Winter?

Summer; most definitely. Swimming and bikinis on the beach become an everyday possibility. It's the season that causes the forest to grow green and full of life. I LOVE summer!

Well, I'm for winter. It's easier to wrap up and get warm than it is to cool down on a hot day. I hate being too hot. Being allergic to the sun doesn't help. But blue skies are nice. I love a nice frosty, blue sky day.

I think we will all hold the memory of the warm summer and all of its promises whispered to us in the cool evening air, and as we watch the silvery moon rise in the starry sky, we long for those times of long ago when we were in our youth. These were the times that life seemed to slow down a bit, and we took a vacation from all of the stresses that life seemed to hold for us all. Thanks for your question.

Love, love, love the summer..eventhough it seems to get too hot on somedays..but you get to wear less clothing, and you get to enjoy outside...vs winter time..uggh..you usually spend your days indoors...

If you get too hot, you can always go swimming at a pool, then sit in the shade as the breeze gently dries you off; LOVE it! Plus, I always seem to develop sickness' more frequently during the winter months. Which is no bueno. Thanks for the reply!

My vote: winter. All my family knows that I just "don't do" summer (and spring) well. I can't stand the heat and humidity. As the summer draws to a close (like now), you'll always hear me exult, "Winter's on the way!" I never complain in the fall or winter either.

Summer since it allows me to go to the park with my children and my garden is blooming beautifully.

Winter for me always. I am uncomfortable in the heat, it does not suit me at all. Now Winter, we can put on a coat or take it off, we can control the heat if we wish at home. There is the lovely crisp frost in the mornings, the low brooding clouds all a delight. Then there is Christmas, this means happiness for most of us. Then the New Year celebrations. You can keep your Bikinis, oil and creams. Winter every time. ( I'm a happy chap really )

Winter. Here in Houston the winters are mild, no snow (except in extremely rare circumstances, and it melts quickly), yet we have some days cold enough to use the fireplace which I find cozy and romantic (yes romace is alive at my age).

Summer - hands down.  I love feeling the sun beat down on me and there's nothing quite like the smell of a summer barbecue.
