How difficult is it to get into the Hubpages Apprentice program?
It's not difficult but you must be active on Hubpages and publish a minimum of 8 article/hubs per month. Just apply and they will tell you what you need to do to be eligible for entry.
The requirements for the program are listed here:
http://hubpages.com/learningcenter/Appr … ip-Program
If you meet the requirements, it should not be difficult. You need to be able to write hubs with acceptable grammar and spelling, and show that you can write at least 8 articles a month. They are looking for team players, so if you show that you participate in the forums and answers, treating everyone with respect, then I would think you can get in.
Don't apply unless you know you have the time to devote to writing 8 hubs a month, learning the lessons, and participating in the group.
Hi whaturmissing,
MT has given a great answer and the perfect link for those interested in the AP. I totally agree with her regarding participation and respect.
I would just like to add that using the various capsules in your hubs will help. Try to get into the habit of publishing regularly to see how you manage with publishing 8 hubs a month.
If you feel that you can comfortably reach this goal, give good comments and participate with your team then I recommend anyone to apply for the AP.
You may feel forgotten at times after applying, but they do get back to you and if like me you are refused then don't be put off. Apply again,
MJ.
It´s not too difficult. You just need to fill out an application that fulfills all the requirements, and if you´re chosen, you´ll be notified in the following months.
One of the most important requirement is that you need to have is good writing skills, including spelling, punctuation and syntax.
On your part, you need to be able to manage your time, so as to write the assignments without delay.
two to four hours a day will be sufficient time to write the articles assigned. it all depends on you.
I've taken a look at a few of your hubs, and I certainly think you could apply. You might get in now, or might need to reapply. If you want to increase your chances, read some excellent hubs on your favorite topics, then improve your current hubs or write new ones that use the high-quality images and language you find on the best hubs that you read. Good Luck!
All I can say is that if I can get accepted - I'm now into month 3 of the AP - then you will certainly have a great chance. It is hard work and a lot of information to take in, but I'm loving it!
I have the same question. I haven't heard back on my application yet. It seems like they are taking a new batch of people every month though. So, like other people have said, if you use proper grammar and post consistently, you should have a good chance.
No difficulty if we take a mind to follow it and train well.

I logged in to Hubpages this morning to find that whereas previously, I had two unfeatured hubs that I have been intending to get around to editing or deleting, I now have 25 UNFEATURED for "lack of engagement".Whilst I appreciate that the older hubs may well need some work or in some...

I was wondering how much people actually earn on HubPages through HubPages ads program? Does it produces better results than AdSense? How much hubs and tgime does it take to start earning? Yeah, I know, so many questions, but I really need to know the answers. Thanks in advance for answering it.

Yes, I am a new "hubber." I am also a new writer. It has only been a few months since discovering I really enjoy writing on HubPages. My problem is, since I started writing on HubPages I have been a bit, let's just say, OCD when it comes to my spelling and grammar. Before I hit the...
