What is the one thing, pet, or person you will love unconditionally no matter what, forever and why?

What is the one thing, pet, or person you will or have loved unconditionally no matter what since the day you saw it or met?  It doesn't matter the circumstances, there are no conditions, just undying love. Is there more than one?

I would prefer to love a' pet', why;, because pet will  never ditch you, never feel  jealous of you and will never hit you  at your back. Moreover, a Pet would never love you conditionally. He would always  be at your service and would be loyal enough to be trusted for life. As far as a  ' person' is concerned, , never close your eyes to trust, love or rely   him  blindly. because he could be dangerous at any moment  without alarming you..

My hypnotherapist told me that the only right answer to this is: myself. (I tend to disagree)

Well, you know the hypnotherapist is right and as you can see from most, if not all our answers, most of us tend to leave 'us' on the sidelines.

I find that almost kind of odd  and also tend to disagree, because it almost sounds selfish and like there would need no self improvement  Hmmm  I need to think about this one

In order for others to respect us, like us and eventually love us, we must first show all of the above to ourselves. It has to do with self awareness and self respect. Nothing selfish about that. That's how you become balanced and selfless to others.

Excellent point and if you think of it like that then I totally agree. I was thinking  on terms of no matter what I do, I don't have to fix it because it's unconditional and there is always room for improvement
Thank you for clearing that up for me

Of course it's my children. I believe my husband too (we've been together already 28 years; I don't see anything changing), but children have a parents' uncondintional love, and I am one devoted mom. My pets I love the same way, because they too love uncontitionally.

Michael the man I love. He can't do anything to cause me to be upset with him for more than 1 minute and then I forget it. That kind of thing happens rarely. We discuss everything, and it leaves no room for doubts to creep into our life together. I am thankful to have that same unconditional love from him, with no doubts. Living each day is a happy and content experience because of this.

That kind of unconditional love is very rare I think in humans. It's sad but true

My Children - you can't disassociate yourself from them in any way

I think there are a lot of people that disassociate themselves from their children for numerous reasons and vice versa.

I will love unconditionally forever my child and my dog. By extension most of my family, because when everyone else fails you, and they will, your family if you have the chance to have a good one is always there to pick up the pieces, give you support and put you back on the right track. As for my dog, I don't know anything in the world that can love you in a selfless way like a dog does. The more I observe them, the more they amaze me. A friend of mine used to say "The more people I meet, the more I love my dog"

I am so in agreement with your quote "The more people I meet, the more I love my dog," (well for me dogs and horses)  I think that especially holds true to me with the older I get. lol

I will love God unconditionally because He gives me my future and has provided all that I have now and have had in the past.

I am also a horse lover/nut and  will love them and my dogs unconditionally, even through broken fences, torn up boots, hole digging, etc. I will love them forever.

I will love my daughter, Lily forever. She could grow up and kill me but I'd still watch over her if there really is such an afterlife that allows me to.

Answering the last question first, Charlu, there definitely are more than one. I am kinda awake and kinda not right now. Spontaneously I would say it is Max. Max is the companion of a friend, who is a poet, author, photographer, artist from Sweden who has fibromyalgia. He has been her bud for twelve years. I have only met Max by photo, yet I love that dude tremendously.

I have been featuring Max at the hubs at some of the Hubs I write now. He I think will be the mascot or logo for a charity I am working toward creating as a 501C. I have another friend who is bipolar and she has a dog too. I love that dog too. It is a trained dog specifically to aid her with her diagnosis. I have seen him at work in public settings and he knows what he is doing. Cool!

A wise man once told me, "you don't have to like your children, but you will always love them no matter what".  This is so true for me.  My children I will love unconditionally forever, because as parents who have parental instincts this love is uncontrollable.  But we don't have to like them or their actions, we just have to love them.

It was supposed to be a person but I understand. God is a deity...If you are feeling that way this is a perfect answer?

I must say it is God, but since God is love, and our ultimate goal as human beings (in my opinion) is to manifest love to the highest degree, we must truly love ourselves in order for this transformation or evolution, to happen.  (I also love my kids unconditionally)

    Great question!!!

My husband.  He is the kindest, most decent person I have ever known and has been there for me through thick and thin for more than 25 years.  There is nothing he could ever do to make me stop loving him.
