Faith is like supreme confidence in God's love, a feeling of deep security. Man is the visible, the manifested. God is the invisible, the source of what manifests as man. Faith is trust in that invisible source, the knowledge that it exists. It is loyalty to the unseen reality, by which it becomes seen. Man is either the virgin Mary, who is faithful to her ideal and is impregnated by the seed of God, thus giving birth to salvation, or a prostitute, which lives by accepting the seed of any man and gives birth to abominations. Faith is loyalty. To lack faith is to be double-minded, to lack loyalty. This loyalty is what ties Man to what he hopes and thus makes it manifest in his life.

Faith is letting go and letting God/Goddess or the Cosmic Universe take over. It is having enough faith that you stop going into the proverbial kitchen and taking over because you do not believe the Universe Is working fast enough.

Faith is the inner, subliminal knowledge of God's existence and caring love, knowing that despite all appearances, all works together for our ultimate welfare and spiritual growth. It is that power in us that strives to climb from mere belief to experiential knowledge, to grow from intuition to full undoubted knowledge.

Faith is believing in the unseen, knowing that the best will come of any given situation. Trusting in God, that he has you in the palm of his hands. Jesus walked on water with faith that he could. He healed sickness, blindness, bleeding and suffering with faith. Seek and yea shall find, knock and the door shall be opened unto you. Faith as tiny as a mustard seed, shall move mountains, if you only believe. Come to me as a child, doubting nothing, and receive all that has been promised to you. That is faith.

Faith is not religion and religion is not faith. They are two different things altogether.
In the verses that I looked up in the New Testament about FAITH and how Jesus was using the term none of them had any connotation to Religion or anything similar. For instances: Matthew 21:21, Luke 17:6.  You can read more on my hub here:  FAITH-AN-UNDERSTANDING-ABOUT-YOUR-SELF

Faith is submitting to an unseen power and relying on it without doubt or reservation.

"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen" Hebrews 11:1.

From my experience, faith is a combination of perfect confidence, utter humility, unconditional love and 100% responsibility.

This is the mechanics of creation. This is the womb of miracles.

When Peter stepped out of his storm-tossed boat onto the unsettled Sea of Galilee, he lost all reasonableness and stood on the liquid surface, defying gravity. For that moment, he was fearless

When I experienced the Miracle on Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles (1977), the feeling was one of invulnerability and utter love. When you take 100% responsibility, there is no room for you to be a victim. This is the natural state of the spiritual, true self (soul, Holy Ghost, child of God), within.

I also felt some of this when I found myself outside my physical body, in 1971. For a few moments, my consciousness was no longer dependent upon my body's brain. I tasted the "everlasting life" of spiritual consciousness that can continue no matter what happens to the physical body. These were a few moments without ego.

Some people live their lives with faith. They are prosperous, but also generous. They could give away a fortune one day and have a new one the next day, if they needed it. They are not attached to such things or fearful of losing them, because they have the feeling deep inside that abundance is always with them.

When I asked for "wide open spaces and smooth sailing all the way to my destination" on Wilshire Boulevard, bumper-to-bumper traffic disappeared from the center, Westbound lane within 5 seconds for a distance of 2 miles. Only recently did I realize that, logically, there was not enough room in the already crowded lanes, left and right, to "absorb" those additional cars.

Faith was "evidence" for the miracle being requested, before even knowing "how" it would be possible. But it is also "evidence" for the miracle even after being found physically impossible (like Peter walking on water, if only for a moment).

Believe or not. Everyday we use this faith. For example, you are at a red light in your car in a intersection. The lite turns green and you cross the intersection. You have faith that the lights stay red for the other cars, so you can cross safely to the other side without being killed by another motorist. You are having faith at the moment you are crossing that light. If we can have that much faith for a traffic device, can you imagine what would happen if we had faith in other things.

Faith is action.  Look at Noah.  Whether you believe the story or not it is an example of faith.  God told him to build an Arc in the desert and he did.  Now that is faith!

Faith is love, exile, safety. It's that power that comes with you and loves you day after day.
