   I would have to say 'Yankee Doodle Dandy' starring James Cagney.  He makes a great song and dance man!

      yes bravewarrior that is a good movie. James Cagney did a wonderful job in that movie after seeing him in so many mobster movies. My father thanks you, my mother thanks you, my sister thanks you and I thank you.

   oh not  a fair question doesnt this answer change depending on your age,your interests,even the memories associated with the times when you watched the movie? ha well as a child,my favorite was Peter Pan with Mary Martin,as a teenager it was Gone With the Wind, as a young adult and single it was Star Wars, as a young mother with 2 children it was Monster Squad amd Neverending Story, as a middle age wife and mother it was Aliens (still a fav) and today? well I will watch Day After Tomorrow  repeatedly but oh my isnt Avatar lovely and so is 10,000 BC...oh I just think this is too unfair  and thank you for making me think

   My favorite is Gone With The Wind. A beautiful long movie I have ever seen.
