   The question is pretty self-explanatory. The last movie I watched was Public Enemies, which I really liked, but I thought that it was a little bit to hollywoodistic, and that they tried to squeeze every drop out of every scene..

   GI Joe...I love movies like that. I'm normally the first one in line for movies like Transformers. I thought it was awesome. I haven't even paid attention to Public Enemies but I think I'll check it out now.

   I it had a film twilight. I was is amazed by this film. Probably it is the most beautiful history about love.

   I'm hopelessy out of touch and way behind the times so with that said. Yesterday was a very rainy day (6 inches of rain in 3 hours here) and tired of making hubs I ended up watching Beverly Hills Cop for the first time.

   Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea by Hayao Miyazaki. I've loved his stuff since I saw My Neighbor Totoro in 2nd great, and he replaced my love for Disney.

    Leo just yelled out from across the living room, that he watched The Soloist last night and thought it the best movie he's seen in ages. I was hubbing and missed it.

    In theaters: I saw Tyler Perry's I Can Do Bad All By Myself. It wasn't my favorite of his movies, but still fun to go see.
    Before that the last one was 500 Days of Summer, I absolutely loved it
    On dvd: I saw Adventureland, had some funny moments. And I saw Sunshine Cleaning, the acting was good, the story was just ok, but I still enjoyed it.

    Last weekend I went to see both, Halloween 2 and Final Destination(part whatever)
    
    I liked the way Rob Zombie updated the Halloween series. Being a teen in the 80's, slasher films were the best.  The FD movie was terrible.  The producers wanted a 3D movie and put a lot of 3D effects in it but by doing so, they took away from the story development.

    It is a MUST-SEE, absolutely fascinating!

    Suurogates with Bruce Willis.  Very average, more holes in the plot than a sieve, but probably worth it just to see Bruce's very scary wig.  Let's face it - if you were going to buy a surrogate for yourself, you would so get a good-looking one!

    I saw Whip It! With Ellen Page and Drew Barrymore. I liked it a lot
    
    I also saw The Invention of Lying, story was unique and had a few funny moments, not a complete waste of a Friday night.

    I re-rented "Gran Torino"...I like the twist that Clint Eastwood puts on an average grumpy  ol' guy...that ultimately "takes action" even to a sacrificial point for what he believes in...Well done movie...I love it!

       I wasn't expecting much when I finally sat down to see it, but that's probably why it was such a treat to watch.  I really enjoyed it and yes, it certainly lived up to its hype.

       I really like how Clint used this scene to foreshadow the ending of the movie.  File this movie under modern western classic (new genre courtesy of Dirty Harry himself).  He'll always be a Badass in my book

    Last night I saw Larry Clark and Harmony Korine's Ken Park.  It certainly pushed the envelope, as is to be expected from the guys who brought us Kids.  If you're an adventurous - and I mean REALLY adventurous - film goer, I highly recommend it.  Otherwise, keep away; It will probably offend.
    
    My most recent theater experience was seeing Where the Wild Things Are, which did not disappoint.  It built upon the initial 10 sentence story quite brilliantly, I thought.
